AlvorMar Apartamentos Turisticos

We really liked this place. it's solid, clean, efficient - built well (heavy secure doors ). It's well run - the receptionists are very good, speak multiple languages and are always available at reception. Beds, furniture, cooking facilities are all good. Free WI FI. Bathrooms are high quality. Some other nice touches too - weighing scales in reception - for weighing travel bags to ensure they are not overweight. There's a guest room too - so even though apartments need to be vacated by 11:00 am, there's a secure room to store luggage and good facilities to shower and change before travel. Hotel is quite Central with easy walking distance to shops/restaurants etc.

My wife and I stayed in Alvormar for two weeks at the end of September and overall we had a good experience. The apartments have a central location, close to the bars and restaurants in Alvor, and about a 15 minute walk to the beach. The Intermarche supermarket is 5 minures walk away. There are great facilities:- swimming pool and cafe sun terrace library 24 hour reception daily cleaning We also found the staff to be friendly and helpful. On the negative side, our bedroom was adjacent to the main corridor (this would be true of all the apartments due to the oval shaped layout of the building), and we were often woken by people coming back to their rooms late at night. There was also some noisy parties on balconies especially in our first week. This is why we have given a four rather than a five.

Beautiful, clean and wonderful staff. We have been going to Alvor for many years and this is the first time at AlvorMar and we WILL be back. Its honestly like a hotel and so convenient to the village. Really it has everything and so quiet as well. The staff are a credit to AlvorMar. I can honestly say I have never seen such a clean apartment and the rooftop is so nice.

Been to AlvorMar about four times (whenever we go to Alvor, we stay here), this place is spotless, has a fantastic location, and is free of ******. We always book a ground floor room with garden access, because by booking one of these rooms you have your own patio with two sun loungers, and direct garden access to the pool that usually has lots of vacant loungers and a small cafe. The premises is always nice and quiet of an evening and the reception is manned 24/7.

This was our 5th time staying at the AlvorMar, we normally travel as a couple but on this occassion our family of 5 travelled. The apartment was a 2 bedroom is was very spacious loads of room, beds where comfy, balcony huge, cooking facilities if required, fresh towels, bedlinen spotless, apartment cleaned every day except Sunday. We have stayed previous in the premium 1 bedroom we are exceptional also. The pool is fantastic with a great pool bar serving food and drink and roof terrace is perfect for great sea views and relaxing. Having travelled to Alvor on many occcasions without doubt the AlvorMar is the best place to stay. It is minutes to the gorgeous beach and seconds to the town. The staff are very friendly and helpful and its just the perfect location. Thank you AlvorMar for another great stay, we will be back in July.

These apartments are the best I've ever stayed in, absolutely spotless, cleaned every day ,bedding spotless plenty of pillows etc,pool area lovely plus a roof terrace, the staff were so nice very helpful, great location 2 minutes from everything fabulous restaurants all nearby, definitely will go back
