Tigh Na Leigh

The bedroom on ground floor was very comfortable with easy access to walk-in shower. We received a very warm welcome. Graham was so kind on arrival, he helped my friend to carry our luggage into the room, it was quite chilly when we arrived Graham brought in a heater to warm the room up quickly, it was certainly warm enough once the central heating kicked in. Karen and Graham were very friendly and helpful. Graham was kind enough to take us to local pub and even picked us up. I would certainly recommend staying in Tigh Na Leigh the personal service we received was fantastic! Graham and Karen went out of their way to give us any advice on where to visit and safe to walk, Karen even called hair salon to get me an appointment. I will certainly look forward to another visit. A big thank you to both of them for making our stay so special

We enjoyed our stay in Alyth form the first to the last minute. The guest house (a former doctor's house) has been beautifully renovated and furnished with various design objects, thus creating an unique and welcoming atmosphere. Our room on the 2nd floor was spacious, cosy and quite. Our hosts Graham and Karen did not only provide us with delicious breakfast and unparalleled hospitality, but also with tons of valueable tips for trips around the area. Its those little local tips that you cannot find in any travel guide, but they make your day unforgettable. So we discovered scottish lochs,waterfalls, parks and villages that we would not have seen otherwise. Supported by sunny wheather, we made wonderful experiences and we hope to remember them for a long time. Would like to come back. Thanks for those good days !

The hotel we planned to stay was booked for Easter , however I scrolled down to find a jewel in the crown, The Tigh Na Leigh, it had good reviews looked fabulous. They have won lots of awards. We booked the suite which didn't disappoint. The hotel was Immaculate. We booked for 3 nights B&B. The owners had thought of everything, very helpful with directions etc ,After a good breakfast, off we went. Alyth is a little place, but ideal position to go touring to see the attractions. Lovely scenery, and amazing castles. We will definitely be booking again. ?

First time down in this part of Perthshire and pleasantly surprised to find this hidden gem. The guest house is lovely and the breakfast was superb. Hosts were so accommodating as we arrived late and very helpful with local recommendations. Will definitely be visiting again in the future

We spent three nights at this delightful guest house in rural Angus. We were attending a music festival in Kirriemuir a few miles away. Our accommodation was first class. The room and food was worthy of a fiver star hotel but not at five star prices. Our hosts could not have been any nicer. They are very friendly and down to earth. We will certainly be back when we next attend Bonfest.

From the outside, the guesthouse appears an attractive, if unremarkable Victorian building. But once you enter, you realise the owners' creativity and attention to detail have transformed the interior into a gallery of designed rooms, each with its own character and specifically chosen antiques, artworks and furnishings. The large garden also shows the same eye for design and is tended expertly by Graham and Karen. But what makes a stay at Tigh Na Ligh more special than a boutique hotel, is the warm welcome guests receive from Graham and Karen in person, and their obvious enthusiasm for what they've created. Also, loved the breakfasts!
