Haggards on Hilldrop

An absolute delight this b&b is! From the warm welcome at Reception from Heste-Mari, who even offered to show us a few room options to see which one we preferred! The accommodation was wonderful, the gardens are immaculate and exude tranquility, and there is a beautiful pool, with an honesty bar and lounge next to it. The breakfast was 5* and the drive from Crocodile Bridge to get here was very pleasant. We chose to do this route from Crocodile Bridge to Ballito and do the stopover here and even though it was a little less direct than driving via Swaziland, we would happily do it again just to experience this beautiful b&b.

This is the second time I stay at Haggards in Newcastle. The property is beautiful, the rooms are lovely and the staff is even better. The staff is accommodating, helpful and very kind. I must say that the beds there feel like clouds, I had two great sleeps.

Haggards on Hilldrop is the only place i stay when in Newcastle. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The food excellent quality.
