Clean and very neat! Beautiful property with great serene views. Patrick (host) was awesome and went out of his way to make us comfortable. It really felt like home away from home. Best part was the breakfast that was freshly prepared at our chosen time. The freshly brewed coffee 👌 wow oh wow. For a couple who travels often this is by far one of the best experiences we have ever had. We definitely will be going back

It was such a nice stay. I felt so at home. Had a good chat with the owner. It would have been nice if there had been a hairdryer and soap, as in other guesthouses, because I came unprepared, but it didn't change anything regarding my stay. Cupboards need some maintenance, and more hangers would be appreciated..The room is very spacious and comfortable, with everything one needs.

Palmwood is a great place to stay. I have had two long-term term stays. Both times I have felt welcomed, safe and comfortable. The location is convenient as it's near the beach, malls and easy access to the Durban CBD. The staff is friendly and helpful. The guesthouse offers value for money and provides the basic necessities to make your stay comfortable.

Beautiful scenery, on the hills, excellent bnb service, tv and wifi in every room, 5 star experience, the coffee is nice and landlord welcoming and the attendance is satisfactory

Spotless, crisp BnB, perfect distance from town. I'd recommend for anyone needing an overnight stay, long or short term.

After reading the reviews here and on Google, it makes more sense. I made a booking for 2 of me regular (black) travelers. They arrived as a late check in, which they were advised of. When they got there, nobody would open and their ONE phoneline was switched OFF! We tried to call NUMEROUS TIMES!!! This resulted in my clients to seek alternative accommodation. NO REPLIES on emails from them with regards to any sort of refund. NO response on calls either. DO NOT BOOK HERE, EVER!

It was ok, we only stayed 2 nights. My company booked the trip. Breakfast was ok, Just one thing, there was no hairdryer in the room. Most Guest houses have them available. I must also say I did not ask.
