had a wonderful stay at R degrees. From the moment I arrived, everything was smooth and welcoming. The staff were always attentive and friendly, making me feel at home throughout my stay. A special thank you to Sachin and Eranga, the managers, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Their professionalism and warm hospitality made a big difference in my experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the facilities well-maintained, and the service exceptional. I truly enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. I’m looking forward to coming back again!

We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of an organised trip round Sri Lanka. It was the perfect end to our holiday and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. We had a wonderful welcome from the staff and then were shown to our rooms - a twin with garden access and a fantastic double which is the size of some houses with a balcony overlooking the gardens and sea. The food was delicious and generous. For breakfast there was a choice of hot cooked food as well as a fruit platter and hot drinks. For dinner we had a choice of starters, mains and puddings as well as a soup course. Lunch was available but we chose to walk a short distance up the road to an excellent supermarket which sold plenty of lunch food which we ate in our room or in the village. The pool was clean and refreshing and big enough to swim lengths. The gardens were cleaned and maintained daily and were immaculate. There is direct access to the beach which is beautiful and we enjoyed playing in the sea and walking in both directions. There are some crabs on the rocks at low tide which are fun to see but beware, the rocks can be slippery (I found this out the hard way!). We also had a massage here and although the room isn’t very glamorous, it was excellent and very good value. My son also spent some time in the gym which was air conditioned (he only found the controls at the end!). Thank you for a wonderful stay with fantastic staff!
