Constance Tsarabanjina - All Inclusive

Little paradise on earth. We couldn’t define it in other way! Of course, accordingly to our taste. We escaped so far not to look for Italian cooking but for a white and exotic sandy beach as shown on pictures. And our high expectations were far surpassed by the truth! We found that food and service, entirely provided by locals mostly according to malgasy style, were simply perfect in that place. Furthermore we were glad to know that Constance (the multinational property) helps somehow locals, not only providing jobs but even supporting basic services. It doesn’t change the world but ….

Honestly the most incredible, untouched and most beautiful place you could ever imagine to go. The hotel, the excursions, the guests and the staff were the most welcoming, most warm and most vibrant one could ever ask for! The extra trips they offer are spectacular and definitely worth doing. The food and the room was super. The views and the ocean are something you see only in movies, but experiencing it in real life is even better. A huge thank you to Elena and her whole team! They are FANTASTIC! I will certainly be back many times again in the future as I'm sure anyone who stays there will agree.

My husband and I spent 6 wonderful days at Constance TSARABANJINA. Our experience was top notch, from the beginning to the end! No need to elaborate too much about beach/landscape as the pictures speak for themselves: stunning! And same goes for the hotel structure, comfort and vibe: classy and beach-style, up to date, without being excessive. However we do want to mention the staff all across the island, as everyone was extremely welcoming, attentive and discreet. We really felt looked after, in a very professional way, from the restaurant/bar to the reception staff, from the excursions crew to the room cleaners. Shout-out to Giulia and Romeo for the snorkeling trips, Jacob for the island tour and Malagasy presentation, Elena and Onisoa for the warm welcome. They all answered patiently our questions and always went out of their way to spoil us. Thanks everyone for giving us amazing honeymoon memories that we will cherish forever. Susan & Olle

My goodness, this place is paradise, totally unique. The reason is that it feels like home. As soon as you arrive to a special welcome on the beach Elenor the manager said to me “your our family now” and that totally sums it up. We became part of their whole family. A place that is total luxury yet you are not sitting on ceremony at all. Staff mix with you, they know your name and they have fun with you too! Eric and Edmond in the restaurant work so damn hard along with all the restaurant staff, the food is to die for too! We met beautiful Faneva on the boat ride over and she showed how much she loves working on the island, she became a special part of our trip, always smiling with us The hotel is ran by Lucas and Elenor and they do such a perfect job, it can’t be easy managing 80 men and 11 women! What we loved the most is that the staff spent time with us in the evening at pre dinner drinks and at Christmas we all partied and ate together, just like family The island is idlic, the bungalows are amazing inside, full air conditioning after the heat of the sun. We stayed in bungalow 7 on the south shore, amazing views and a few steps and you are in the sea, just simply perfect Nothing was too much trouble, they care for you just as you would your own family. They even have a resident nurse! Please please don’t ever change the concept, we have travelled far and wide and have never experienced this, we very rarely go back to the same location twice but we are already planning our return for this December, if you stay three times your name is embedded into the bar, that we are aiming for If you are hesitant about booking, stop and book now, your life will be enriched for doing so! I really wanted to give this place more than two stars. The review is not a reflection on the staff (especially Onisoa and Eric) who were AMAZING and went WAY above and beyond to make our trip special. The accommodations were lovely and the food WOULD HAVE been great if not every meal hadn’t been ruined by the nauseating cigarette smoke that wafted up from the lounge DIRECTLY BELOW the dining area…right up to our very last evening where the smoke was so thick we had to get our dessert take away and eat it in our room. Truly shocking that for the hefty price tag of this place one cannot enjoy their meal without the revolting smell of cigarettes. Shame on Constance for endangering the health and wellbeing of their staff by allowing them to be exposed to secondhand smoke for the duration of their workday. Had I known this before booking I’d have gone somewhere else. I will not be returning to another Constance resort until they wake up and smell the lung cancer.

Tsarabanjina deliveres everything you want from a tropical paradise. Breathtaking crystal water, barefoot life, great snorkeling / diving and amazing sunsets that will leave you breathless. However the most appreciated uniqueness of the stay here is the atmosphere created from all the staff. Feels like leaving a family you never realized you had when the boat goes from the shore and the staff are all weaving to you from the beach. Truly a warm intimate feeling yet so rich in secludedness and private island atmosphere.
