Tawi Lodge

My husband and I stayed at Tawi. Can’t say enough about the accommodations, the staff and chef. Looking out at Mt. Kilimanjaro every day! Amazing food after a beautiful safari and day. Too much food!! Ha! Staff were so hospitable and cared for us so gently and kindly. Views were amazing. The watering hole is magical with all the animals coming to it at dinner time. Craig, the oldest (elephant) tusker of the area visited!! Our guide, Tom was amazing. Really a special place.

We're a family of 4 who traveled through Kenya for 12 days. This hotel was the highlight. It was small and authentic. All of the staff were welcoming. The food was really amazing (especially after buffet after buffet at other hotels). Our room overlooked Mt. Kilimanjaro, which really made it special. Each night we would look up at the stars and just feel very fortunate that we found Tawi Lodge! No brainer.

What a fantastic place to stay when doing your safaris in Amboselli area. The grounds are explicit, the rooms are spacious and very comfortable, the atmosphere is amazing, the quality of the food is fingerlicking good and the staff are brilliant and simply the nicest people. Would recommend to anyone, including families with children. There is a fun and comfortable pool and deck chairs overlooking the waterhole where you can just relax with a drink and watch the animals as they come by. There a lovely colourful birds checking stuff out and the staff makes sure that the funny monkees will not become a nuisance, Would recommend going for the bush walk with Masai guide; you learn and see new things. - Beds are very comfortable - Shower takes long to warm up, if at all. Would recommend the staff to place a large bucket to not let water go to waste and use to water the plants. - Staff is super helpful, taking care of your room and protection against mosquitos. - Kilimanjaro view is majestic. - Food is amazing (!) but way way too much (three course for both lunch and dinner; after the first day we opted for one big meal a day and just took a starter of a main for the other). - No need to go to the national park every day. The conservancy is just a beautiful and suitable for game drives. We encountered Craig the famous elephant multiple times! We would love to come back one day!

Sublime. Beautiful balance of luxury and connection with nature. The cuisine is top notch and the staff is super friendly and attentive. Add unforgettable Tusker safaris with the gorgeous Kilimanjaro as a backdrop, and you are guaranteed a stay that will live on in memory.

Tawi Lodge the 1st stop on my African vacation and it was beautiful! Room was gorgeous, staff was wonderful and the game drives/driver were amazing! The icing on the cake was the watering hole on the property, you can eat meals and watch all the animals come right to you! A massage and facial are a must! I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for 3 glorious nights in late June 2024. This was a 5-star experience for us. The lodge and grounds are absolutely beautiful and meticulously maintained. Whoever designed this is a genius of a designer. We stayed in a suite that was absolutely stunning, super spacious, clean, very comfortable and had every amenity we could want or need. We also had amazing views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Our suite was also a few feet away from a watering hole so we saw many animals (elephants, giraffes, baboons, etc) right from our private deck. The staff was caring and attentive and professional. The staff fed us three fabulous meals daily and all our game drives were fantastic with our guide Maina. There is a watering hole adjacent to the beautiful pool area and we thought this was a highlight of the visit to be able to enjoy watching the animals come and rest and bathe. It was absolutely amazing. Thank you to the team Titus, Gladys, Rose, Samuel and others you made our stay unforgettable. Tawi Lodge is a very special place.
