This was one of the best staycations I have ever had in Selangor. Adjacent to a jungle, Sarang by the Brook offers a relaxing experience with views of lush greenery, where you might spot flying Rajah Brooke butterflies and gliding squirrels—if you are lucky and attentive. The soothing sound of a flowing brook enhances the ambiance. The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean, great selection of books provided in the rooms, and the patrons are allowed to cook with their own ingredients—all of which add great value to the stay! What more could I ask for? I just wish it were closer to home so I could visit more often, and that the owner offered long-term stays for patrons. How I wish?

Cozy place for refresh and relaxing, like staying in a forest. Location near to KKB town. Serve coway water, drinks and bread 24 hours.

Venue needs a coat of paint. No staff around at night to manage the place. Room is poorly equipped.

perfect one night getaway from the city. Only issue we had was the toilet light which was almost close to fuzzy and it was too late to get the staff to help change it.

Been here for few time to relax and unwind surrounded by nature. The container theme resort nestles in the KKB jungle comes with pool views, clean rooms with attached bathroom. Not forgetting the 24 hours bread and drinks. Sarang by the brook in Kuala Kubu Bharu provides accommodations, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a shared pantry.

Sarang by the brook is a collection of private homes set amidst the tropical jungle right at the edge of a historical colonial era small town called Kuala Kubu Bharu, 66km north of Kuala Lumpur city center. Only an hour's drive from Kuala Lumpur, this private holiday sanctuary provides a comfortable and chilled-out atmosphere and acts as a gateway to the natural landscapes and multitude of outdoor adventures. Cradled between the tropical jungle and a quiet colonial-era town, where monkeys and birds are more evident, Sarang by the brook is styled using Shipping Containers as the basic building blocks. With its tropical garden encircling a landscaped saltwater swimming pool, and with only 11 rooms, Sarang by the brook is an intimate private property.

Affordable stay in Kuala Kubu Bharu...ample parking area and free flow coffee provided during my stay.

Great place to stay for a short get away from the city life and stress.

Stayed for 1 night. Overall is good. Place look neat and clean. The room size is ok, complete with towel and toiletries. The staff are friendly and attentive. The free flow of coffee, tea , choc drink, and bread is really a bonus point Unfortunately, when we entered the room, we discovered there's leaking at the wall and ended up the curtain getting wet. So there's a dampness smell throughout the stay. Will give a visit next time ? Most probably

Overall, I won't mind coming back again. Room for improvement for Sarang by the Brooks: 1. Hope they can build a stair & path leading to the brook that is near its place. 2. Provide a better WiFi connection (this place has very weak connection) The Nasi lemak breakfast is good. Love it.

Perhaps its due to rainy day and cozy environment, we really enjoyed the nature surroundiing our room. We had a great rest and the next day was so happy to see butterflies, dragonfly flying over which make us even amazed with the location. Its great place to escape from city. We kinda felt with KKB and of course this place. The kids will love it too..which we are coming back the following week.

Another healing port in KKB. Love it🤩. Recommended for solo, couple, gamily or group trip😎

Rejuvenating space in the midst of nature. Friendly staff, top notch cleanliness. Cozy cabin, and well maintained space. Loved the water pressure in the shower. I am a very happy customer and will definitely come back whenever i need a break from city life. Thanks!
