Awful.... The building is under construction The elevator was out of service and my room was at 3th floor... Room was dark and sooo far from picture... I couldn't stay even for one night... Thanks for trip to help us to change our hotel

The stairs is very very sloping and narrow, which is dangerous, the lift is out of service, seems like never been fixed. Imagine you have to carry your luggage walk up to the 3rd floor with this type of stairs. This old looks a bit old, needs some upgrade.

Decent hotel and room. Bedsheet was not change daily. Only towel. The staircase was the scariest. So narrow. People could trip easily. Not convenient at all

就是小旅館,沒有電梯,樓梯還比較陡,大行李要搬上搬下要小心。作為一個有三百多年歷史的建築,沒有電梯也能理解。旅遊旺季整個城市酒店價格都很貴,無處不在的旅館也生意興隆。酒店外景不錯,瀕臨運河,街景漂亮,比鬧市區要安靜很多。步行去鬧市區也方便。

This is what you get for 225 euros per night!! AVOID this "Hotel"!!! Money machine where the owner, management do not care about their guest stay. Don't let the photos of the rooms on the website fool you. Our advice is to Spend 65 euros more per night and book at CLAYTON HOTEL/AMERICAN HOTEL just on the corner 50 meters from this hole. Stayed there 20 and 21 October 2024. We got a room not in the building where the reception is , we needed to go to street number 86 if I remember correctly room 1425. Disaster!! Smell of pee, feces or, corpse or I don't know what even with the window open! Dirty!, run down room! Not possible to stay, sleep well and relax in that room, totally ruining the trip knowing that you need to go back to that hole. We mentioned/complained about this to the person behind the reception counter and he has heard this song before. He said the hotel was fully booked and could not do anything about it. But he would try the next day to see if there would be a room available that he could move us to. Lucky for us he managed to find us a room the next day in the same building where the reception is. It did not smell and was decently clean, thank you Matis. But not okay for the price you charge! The owner and management should be ashamed on themself to rent out rooms like this and charge overprice. I don't understand how this "hotel" can get 3 stars!! Almost the same price as a real Hotel 4 stars on the corner !!

My friend and I stayed here on the 21st September 2025 for 2 nights… my description would be Faulty Towers on steroids… very dull and grim… the building is stunning from outside, great location inside gross. My friend was eaten alive by bedbugs.. she is literally covered from head to toe in bites… management should be a shamed to be calling this a 3 star hotel… not even worth 1… the photos are very misleading, nothing like the real thing.. FAKE ADVERTISING.. I travel a lot, never have I stayed in such an awful place. AVOID THIS HOTEL… DISGRACEFUL!!!!!!!

Well you may ask why I gave a high score yes it's a 3 star hotel however it's a old building all hotels this old has steepy stairs in Amsterdam not just this hotel . If you want perfection then you pay for it this is a cheap and cheerful hotel and had a fantastic time staying here you get what you pay for simple I did not see 1 bed bug or any bugs for that matter my room was clean anything I needed i just had to ask reception so a big shout out to trey yusief and Frank who made my stay a pleasure it's the staff that makes a company and those lads makes the quentin lovely wet room bathroom yes it gets wet put a towel down it drys quick as it's a wet room I highly recommend this hotel and I'm not just saying that as a guest I didn't have breakfast as expensive for what you get plenty of cafes about just use Google to find were to eat etc towels and bedding clean could have better hotel pillows but that's mu only moan pillows silly I know but loved the hotel overall staff very helpful indeed I will be delighted to stay here again hopefully in the same room 😀

While the hotel is conveniently located and the staff members were trying to be helpful, the room had no air conditioning and was blisteringly hot. The safe wasn't fixed for several days and then there was a rat on the stairwell. Just too much so we left and booked into another hotel. We asked for some form of refund, but they offered nothing.

Gentleman (not sure of his name American accent) who checked us in was lovely very helpful and pleasant. Explained map and area to us. As we had an early flight I did request an early check in . He was able to accommodate a little bit earlier which was helpful. We stayed in room 21. We were lucky no stairs from front desk to that room, stairs are very steep. Like everywhere in Amsterdam. .Hotel was central to city , tram canal cruises etc. bed was very comfortable and spacious. Shower water didn't drain well so bathroom was wet a lot. Outside steps into hotel also very steep and little dodgy when wet. I would recommend this hotel for location and room comfort.

After a hurricane in the United States left my client stranded in Amsterdam, we booked this hotel for her. The location was one that she was comfortable with, and the rate with highly discounted through a site provided from the airline. Upon arrival my client laid down for a nap, and woke up to find bugs in her bed. Armed with video evidence she went to the front desk and was offered to be moved to another Qeuntin property. The property was in an area of Amsterdam she was unfamiliar with and instead asked that her payment be refunded. This request was refused. As a travel advisor I believe that the comfort, safety, and security of my clients is the more important than any dollar amount. Whether or not another hotel room was offered, and whether or not it was in a different hotel, and whether or not that hotel was 4 stars or more, is of little consequence if my client was not comfortable staying there. Your hotel had bugs, and the bottom line is that you should have refunded her money. You had the opportunity to act with grace and integrity, and sadly you chose an alternate path, breaking the relationship with my client, and with me, not just for this one hotel but for the brand.

We actually left another hotel we’d already paid for, for this place, as the bed was really uncomfortable in our first hotel. So I saw the room first, and knew it was a nightmare to get up 4 narrow flights. But despite the beds being comfortable, cleanliness was not good. I am covered in bedbug bites, and the kettle had been used to make filter coffee and not cleaned out. Still itching now over a day layer from all the bites.

We arrived early in AM and they could not accommodate any early check in. Wmme asked for second floor but had to carry our suitcases up three very narrow stairways even though we were there early no one carried our bags to the our room. There were no plugs at all in rooms that did not take a round adapter- all recessed so the advice was we should go buy three adapters or we had to sit in lobby to recharge our phones and iPads. There is no closet at all or luggage rack so we had to leave all clothes in our suitcase so the floor. It rained and we had went coats and pants- no where to even hang them to dry not one hook on back of door. Shower had no edge so floor was soaked and slippery when you took a shower. I wound not recommend - bed was a double not even full and was wall to wall so you had crawl out bottom of bed neither person could get out on the side. Person at check in shared her only charger, not her fault that rooms had no way to recharge an iPhone but I would never recommend and never stay here again.
