Hotel Larende

Excellent hotel! The room was small, but it was very functional. Make sure to get a room with a balcony. The breakfast was extremely good! The reception was extremely helpful! Keep in mind that it is a little bit of a walk to all of the sites in Amsterdam, so it’s not the best location if you are not willing to walk 15 or 20 minutes to see stuff. But there are several dining options nearby for lunch or dinner as well. Literally maybe 50 or 100 feet. It’s about a 20 minute walk to the Anne Frank house for example.

içerisinde Central Station a ve Dam meydanına ulaşabiliyorsunuz. Otel personeli çok ilgili ve güleryüzlü, özellikle işletme sahibi Murat Bey'e ve tüm ekibine çok teşekkür ediyorum. Otele ilk girdiğimiz andan çıkana kadar çok yardımcı oldular. Otele girer girmez ikramda bulundular. Otelin kahvaltısı gayet yeterli ve yiyecekler lezzetli. Odalar çok ferah,sessiz ve temiz. Otel etrafında bir çok kaliteli ve güzel publar var. Şehrin kalabalığından uzak ancak bir o kadar da şehrin içinde hissedebileceğiniz , konforlu bir otel. Mutlaka bir sonraki seyahat için yine bu oteli tercih edeceğiz.

Lovely little hotel- comfy, quiet, clean. Room seemed to have been recently refurbished. Staff helpful. Breakfast was a welcome start to the day. You can walk into the city centre in about 20 minutes, or there is a tram stop just outside. Would definitely stay again.

The second time we stayed at Larende. Hight quality and good price. Everything is perfect— clean, smart and big room, tasty breakfast, good location (walking to city center takes 15-20 min across the canals), kind and friendly staff. We like Larende and will back in future with our children.Thanks for your hospitality.

We stayed at this hotel from April 17th to 21st . The hotel is located on a single tram line from the Amsterdam Central Station. The tickets for the journey can be bought from the driver with Credit Card. If you plan to ride the tram at least thrice in a day it makes sense to buy the day pass which is valid for 24 hours from the time it is bought. We found the location of the hotel very located to get to most attractions. The hotel is a cozy small place (around 16 rooms). The owner is very friendly and greeted us when we arrived in the morning. The room is adequate with a small balcony overlooking the main road. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was included with the room rate and was quite decent. The hotel was able to arrange a taxi around 4:30 am for an early flight. We would definitely recommend the hotel.

Lovely small hotel, located on a main through road (De Clercqstraat), clean and bright with friendly and helpful staff. I have an issue when hotels offer a 'breakfast included' option and then breakfast is disappointing! A lot of us will book a breakfast option as it's a quick and easy way to start the day before you head off touristing. Breakfast here was a big let down and it took quite some time to replenish things that had emptied - a little frustrating if you're in a bit of haste to get out of the door in the morning. There is no option for anything hot for breakfast and I don't think this is mentioned when booking. Room (302) was lovely and bright, clean and more than ok for what we needed it for. The hotel itself is in a great location - around 10ish minutes from (what would be classed as) central Amsterdam and positioned excellently for tram connections. There is a lovely cafe`/bar about ten doors down which has an outdoor terrace on the canal, a delicious menu and a fab choice of beers. Really reasonably priced and open till late (1.00am - which can be a little noisy if the weather is warm and you need a bedroom window open, but not a problem really). Our 2-year-old didn't give us the opportunity to stay out late, but it sounded like the punters were having a good time! We'd definitely use this hotel again...but remember to have breakfast somewhere else.
