Holiday Inn Express Amsterdam Arena Towers, an IHG Hotel recensioner

Really comfortable and good experience. We were offered a room on the 17th floor and it had stunning views!

I recently stayed at this hotel and had an incredibly disappointing experience. To begin with, the staff was not as friendly or welcoming as I expected. Their attitude made me feel like an inconvenience rather than a guest. Additionally, simple amenities like toothbrushes and toothpaste were not available in the room. I had to go out of my way to request these basic items, which should be a given in any hotel. To make matters worse, I realized I had made an incorrect booking for August 18th-19th instead of my intended dates of July 18th-19th. When I tried to cancel and receive a full refund, I was curtly informed that I had booked a non-refundable ticket. The customer service representative was not polite or understanding about the situation, which only added to my frustration. Despite this, I still made another booking for my actual dates, but the overall experience left much to be desired. I would not recommend this hotel based on the poor service and lack of basic amenities.

Little was good but housekeeping service is little bit poor

Amazing hotel, station is nearby, neighbourhood is good! best thing was that they gave us an early checkin aa soon as we arrived and it was very much required after a night of travelling. The room and washroom are clean with an amazing view from the windows. The people at rhe reception were warl and welcoming. We were also allowed to leave our luggage at the hotel till night after checkout without any charges.

The hotel is amazing. I recommend. Great price! Free but excellent breakfast and clean room. The staff was nice. It is a bit far from the city center, but I know the state of some hotels in the city center, so paying what I paid for a very clean and nice room and adding 20min to transport to city center was a great deal. I heard that the neighborhood would be a bit sketchy but we felt safe even at night. I'd still be careful when there is a game in arena, because you have to pass by the arena to get to the station.

Excellent stay. Will book again. All facilities were close to including supermarket.

The rooms and location of the hotel was very Convinient.

Superb location is you need to go to an event in the arena area. Loved the size of the hotel room, very comfortable. Breakfast was organised and ok spread; really appreciate the staff at breakfast too.

I really loved they are so polite and also I list my documents in the last airport and they understood my situation and helped me even to get in calm .. definitely I’ll be back , btw the breakfast was amazing

Breakfast! Thats really good! Also the staff are friendly and helpful. I can even put my luggage there after checkout! Such a great hotel! The room is big enough and quiet. The only not so good part is theres no lock on the toilet door.

I requested for a quiet room, away from the elevator, as I am a light sleeper and the staff were very accommodating. They allocated me to a room that was at the end of the hall. However, although ambient noise was low, the room was subject to quite a lot of structural noises every now and then. But it was quiet at night so that was fine. The breakfast is awesome. Staff at the breakfast hall is amazing and very responsive. The soap bottle in the shower was actually empty. The housekeeping knocked on my door at about 7 plus in the evening the next day after checking in, asking if I wanted to service my room. I was quite surprised because I thought housekeeping is usually done in the morning or afternoon when guests are most likely to be out. Nonetheless it was a good stay and I would consider staying here again if I’m in the area the next time.
