Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam City West recensioner

A relatively reasonably priced hotel in Amsterdam. The hotel is one station away from the central train station. Self checkin and checkout are convenient. The elevator was a bit late imo but not a big issue.

The hotel and the location are great. Station with trains, trams, metro is just a couple of minutes walk. The hotel looks beautiful. The area outside provides an excellent opportunity to seat and relax. Car park next to the hotel accessible from the ground floor. Bike rental is also there. A couple of corner shops within about 7 minutes walk. Two large massage armchairs in the lobby which we enjoyed a lot and the massage helped to relax after days out. If In Amsterdam again, will definitely stay there again.

We really like this hotel. Its location is perfect for us and the staff are lovely.

A Review: I stayed at this hotel for two nights and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The air conditioning did not work for the entire duration of my stay. I reported the issue several times and was told someone would come to fix it, but no one ever did. The room was uncomfortably hot, which made it difficult to relax and enjoy my holiday. To make matters worse, the bathrooms were not clean and had visible mould in the toilets. For the price I paid, I expected far better service and standards. What was most frustrating is that after reporting the issue well before 6pm, I was told that technical staff finish at that time—meaning there was no support available afterwards. This is unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. At the time of the checkout I was asked how was the stay seriously!! I said terrible all I was given a email and was told if you ever come back we will do a special rate for you!!  The questions is why would I want to stay here after a terrible service  The hotel exterior may look appealing, but the service, cleanliness, and overall experience were far below expectations. I only booked here because of the positive reviews, but based on my stay, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The service was quite slow during check-in. The breakfast buffet was good but could be better if they changed the menu a bit. We stayed there for 8 nights, and eating the same breakfast everyday was boring. Hence, we opted for flexible days to enjoy the breakfast. The water temperature in the shower was not consistent. Half way bathing, the water suddenly turned hot. Our room keys needed to be reactivated several times. Very inconvenient.

Good stay, superb location easy access to Amsterdam Centraal. Good choice!

The hotel location is nearby with the station. The staff in reception (grace) very helpful. The suite room and the cleanliness is exceptional. Wish to stay again next time.

Good value for money, nothing around but close to train station, easy access to town center

Usually I stay in Amsterdam city centre but I think I have found a new home. One stop train ride from Centraal and this imposing hotel is adjacent to Sloterdijk station. I have used hotels beside railway stations before and not been able to sleep, this one has total soundproofing. Spotlessly clean and service very politely provided. Rooms are modern, quirky in that each floor has a different coloured theme which is continued inside the rooms. Beds supremely comfortable also, I'd rate this as a first class stay and one that made my Netherlands trip very memorable. I would definitely return, excellent value for the money I paid via trip.com
