Agriturismo del Sole

This is an amazing place and the view from the property is spectacular. Luigi and Alphonsino are great hosts and so very friendly and accommodating. We have stayed here several times and have done a cooking class with them along with having dinner here every time we come to Anacapri. This is our favorite spot and you will most certainly enjoy your stay or a great meal.

If you have to get Capri off your bucket list then I strongly advise this place. Capri is just overwhelming even in mid October. Luigi and Alfonsina have carved out tranquility in the midst of chaos. The accommodations are comfortable enough and the hosts are amazing. Alfonsina is an excellent chef, who has attracted the attention of island visitors. Our stay here was welcoming, but the stress of Capri is telling on Luigi and Alfonsina. Be prepared to do a lot of walking and yes Capri is beautiful and I suppose worth enduring.

Best service and best food in all of Anacapri. Luigi and Alfonsino are amazing and they work diligently to ensure you have a great meal and great experience. This is a must place to try as the view is amazing but the food is even better. The ravioli caprese is wonderful. We always make this a stop for us while we are on Capri. You won’t be disappointed, instead you will walk away wondering why you didn’t give it go earlier.

Wow! This was such a great find. The owners and staff are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. The setting is breathtaking! The food is amazing too. The rabbits roaming free will turn any adult into a bit kid. If you’re m ever back in the area I will definitely be staying here.

Such an incredibly beautiful place- totally removed from the fuss of the town, and has stunning views. It even has little pet bunnies around! When we arrived- earlier than expected- they collected us from Anacapri town and drove us up to the place. We were greeted by the owner and a lovely young man who offered us a welcome drink, and gave us a map with some suggestions for our visit with practical suggestions of how to get to them. We then had lunch which was delicious- tasted fresh and well presented. Our room was large enough, with a small kitchenette and outside sitting area. We were worried about walking around, but they directed us along an easy footpath that was not steep so we could go into Anacapri town and back easily. Breakfast was delicious with fresh pastries and (?) homemade jam, fruit, eggs and toast. I would absolutely recommend staying here- the owners are so lovely and the whole place has a relaxed and welcoming vibe.

I am in my 50s and have been wanting to visit Capri since I was young since I've been going to see my family in Lazio since I was a baby. FINALLY had plans last October to go to Capri and was so excited to stay at Agriturismo Del Sole, to boot! My friend and I were staying on Ischia and the morning we were to go to Capri, the front desk stopped us on the way to breakfast to let us know that the only ferry to Capri that day had been cancelled due to the storm. We were heartbroken. I sent Agriturismo Del Sole a message via ******* to let them know we couldn't make it because the ferry had been cancelled. Instead of receiving a response, I got a text from Capital One asking if a charge for the Agriturismo was mine. I was stunned. Talk about adding salt to the wound. I wrote back and explained that it was not by choice that we wouldn't be there, but he responded by asking if we'd still make it and to let him know! Cut a long story short. He ghosted me until I wrote again a few days later when I was back in LA. He said he could save our booking for later this year, but I have no idea when I can go to Capri (I still have yet to visit once)! Essentially, he took advantage of the fact that we had absolutely no way to get to his place, other than swim from Ischia, and would rather stick us with the bill than not have charged my card and have had a good relationship (and good review) going forward. Now, I am telling everyone I know, including my followers, not to book here. Not giving my business to someone who's MO is to take advantage of their guests when they're in a predicament, like we were. Sad. PS If you look at the weather on Capri on Oct 13, 2022 you'll see the disastrous storm that hit the island and wreaked havoc for everyone here and on Ischia.
