Location 3/5 Food 3/5 Room 3/5 Service 2.5/5 The stay at Hotel Golden Residency was average. The building, made of wood, was impressive, and the rooms were above average but offered no views. 6-7 kms from main city. Heaters were operational only for limited hours, and hot water was available only in the mornings. The staff’s behavior at check-in was unwelcoming. Food quality fluctuated; while breakfast was good, the dinner was repetitive during the two-night stay, with fresh non-veg on one night and stale food on the other. Lunch was not available, even on order. Additionally, the staff repeatedly knocked on doors during the buffet, which was very annoying. There was no room cleaning during the stay, and at checkout, tips were demanded for four staff members, which felt excessive.

Room is decent but there were a lot of flys. Food was decent, but the location is no where near river so no site scene

- small rooms with dirty bedsheets
- no power or water in the night forget hot water
- no availability of anyone in the night
- dirty stinking bathrooms
-noises in the room due to the birds on the roof
we had to cut down our stay to one day instead of 2 days and lost around 15k for 2 rooms. Please do not book this property.

Rooms are good but small in size. Location 13 kms ahead of main city. Lider river was flowing behind with apple tree all around. Breakfast was served very late with very few options in dinner also ...

I will rate this average coz everything was good staff food but no service for my driver and end of the day the owner ask me to pay amount even i already paid full amount to make my trip

Room spacious, well maintained but bathroom water logging problem, geyser not working. Food options limited, not upto the mark.

Not at all worth to stay here 1. This hotel is not a resort and not even a hotel. It is a well decorated guest house. 2. It is adjacent to SHAMSHAN. We really couldn't sleep in night. May be phsycologically. 3. Location is 10 kms before main pahalgam area. Better to stay in pahalgham main market. 4. Staff doens't know how to talk to travellers. 5. Breakfast and Dinner both were not eatable. We told staff that food was too spicy during dinner. So they told, baaki koi nahi bola, aap hi ko jada mirch lag rahi hai. And then in breakfast they served no masala no spice black salted food. 6. Gyser not working, TV not working, Electricity issue. 7. River is not accessible so another useless logic to stay here. I would not prefer this place to anyone. Main reason is due to the placement of hotel.

Lovely property and friendly staff food is delicious 😋 and amazing service eis just awesome hospitality is incredible rooms are preety with amazing interior best property for stay if you visit Kashmir this best property for stay thanks for great hospitality and amazing service will be come back again definitely for visit and recommend to other friends and relatives to stay in this property thanks for team of golden residency keep it up guys

Response from the hotel was disgusting, room allotted was not up to the mark, no heating facility, response from the waiters were terribly bad, afterall bad experience
