Our cozy downstairs apartment is centrally located in the beautiful town of Andover. You'll be close to everything while experiencing our New England charm.
We are dog friendly and within 2 miles of the Andover Dog Park, which even has a small section where your pup can run off their leash! Our home is also within 5 miles of many restaurants, grocery stores, and plenty of Country Clubs for golfing.
If you plan to visit Boston, you can park at the train station and enjoy a fun day in the city!
This 1 bed, 1 bath apartment offers great amenities including a smart, large screen TV (with Youtube TV), office space with gigabit high-speed fiber internet for working on the go, and keyless entry through the garage. Our kitchenette includes a hotplate and cooking basics for guests to prepare meals without having to leave the house.
There are also no stairs in or out of the apartment. It's all one-level living.
Guests can access the entire basement unit during their stay.
Guests are welcome to use our washer and dryer during their stay as well. It is located in a space shared by the other two apartment units.
Please note this is a basement unit. The entrance is through the garage.
There are security cameras monitoring the parking lot and inside the garage door.
The top and bottom apartment units share a central HVAC system that can be remotely controlled. The thermostat is located in the upstairs apartment unit. We have an electric baseboard heater, space heater and portable fan designated for this unit for guests to use if needed.

Beautiful location but not a pleasant experience
I rarely write reviews, but i felt i need to put this one down to help other future stays make an informed choice about this property. For start its in a beautiful location. The owners are however not honest, the property is not an apartment but a basement in a private home. I would not have minded this except that it was moldy and may not be good for anyone with allergies. The garage that is the entry to the stay is not so well kept.I had asked for an early check in upon booking and the host just ignored my request. On the morning of arrival, i asked again- i had traveled overnight with my daughter and were quite exhausted. Took awhile to respond and when they did, informed me that i had to pay an early check in fee. I paid the fee and even after that, they kept sending me a wrong code. It took my complaining, almost two hours afyer my arrival for me to get the correct code to access the property. Honestly, this start spoilt the experience for me. I stayed two days and was glad to go back to my home.I hope this helps anyone

Nice place, terrible property management
While the property is fine and in a good location, there are some major drawbacks that I must warn about. I messaged the host for two days before she responded with check-in details just a few hours before we arrived. Once there, the door code did not work and it took myself and two VRBO employees 45 minutes to get in contact with the property manager. VRBO said they called 3 different numbers and then gave me a number to text on top of that before we were able to get in touch with her. The second night, the apartment got to 77 degrees and kept pumping out heat even after we turned both thermostats off. Turns out there is a separate HVAC system inside the apartment that we had no control over. I messaged the property manager again and she was unhelpful and we resorted to opening windows to bring the temperature down. Also, the shower head is also not entirely screwed on and sprays everywhere.
Overall - worst communication I've ever had with a property manager. I wish the owners of the house were the hosts because they were home and likely would've been more helpful and responsive.
