I have always enjoyed Orchid Inn. The recent upgrades to their in room entertainment is a plus. It really is like a small oasis just a short walk from all the noise and crazy action of walking street. The beds are cozy and the food always good. The pool only adds to my affinity to this place. You'll meet a cast of characters in the Cantina and get caught up on all the sports action Down Under as Aussie Rules Football is part of the decorum poolside. You will secure with your guests coming and going so on

Friendly staff good meals swimming is great close to walking street.stayed here on previous occasions

The hotel is good, no issues, Staff are great, just very very basic setup.

Been coming to this hotel for over 20 years. Never disappoints.

I paid extra for “Swimming pool view” and gave me a room with wall view. When I complained to hotel they said that swimming pool view means there is a pool. The pool is a few minutes away. This is false advertisement!!! I don’t recommend this hotel to anyone. I’ll never be here again.

It was,ok room bit noisy facing the bar. Bit dated not really worth the money . Swimming pool area,is not bad.

Was there for a a rugby trip. Main selling point was the location which couldn't have been any better! Staff was pleasant and amenities were adequate.

Service was great and friendly. the rooms were very dated though and could reall use some renovations. it was comfortable and quiet conaidering the location but things were worn. hard to get how water was the real problem though as it was hot and humid outside and after short walks needed a shower. and with no hot water this was not comfortable for me.

Service ok. Rooms very dated needs modifications ie bathroom and decor. Pool ok. Location good to a good night life.
