I deeply appreciate to accept my request to stay longer untill noon with no charge.

這家酒店是老婆近20年前來法國讀 summer school 時住了一個月的地方，所以這次特意來重溫一下。酒店有翻新過，內裝是ok 的，但很多設施是有點舊。例如門鎖仍然是用舊式的鎖匙、電梯是非常小、只可站兩三個人的那種。房間很寬敞，但照明有點不足。地點真的無敵，就在火車站對面，要坐火車去巴黎或其他城市、或是坐電車到市內的地方都非常方便。另外酒店樓下的餐廳非常值得推薦，對面的面包店的面包跟糕點也是便宜又好吃。另外酒店附近大約5分鐘路程就有超市，要採買也是十分方便。

房間好小又貴。停車不方便。

酒店就在火車站對面，房間很小，單人間尚可，雙人間很侷促。房間分為臨街的和不臨街的，臨街的房間很吵。6月中旬入住了臨街的房間，中午起太陽可以直接照到房內，沒有空調，温度很高。打開窗又非常吵。早餐和 Ibis 的很像。感覺房費偏高，和其他客人聊天，得知相同的時間和房型，法國當地人訂房才不到 100 歐（包括早餐），比我們中國人要低30%，現在法國酒店是不是特意對中國人加價。

I like this hotel. I stayed here before and I was happy to come back. However. This is the first time I've stayed here in summer. It was 39° C outside and hotter than that in my room. I was absolutely smashed by the heat. For those of you who don't do C, that's 100 degrees Fahrenheit. It was hotter in my room than outside and it was hotter in the hallway than in my room. These people have got to figure something out. 3 stars? This is barely a two-star hotel if the client has to put up with those temperatures. I would stay here again, but not in summer. Welcome to 2025, Grand Hotel de la Gare.

We stayed here while attending the 24 Hours LeMans race. Our room was small, but neat and clean with a comfortable bed. The lobby is also quite small, but the hotel staff is friendly and extremely helpful. This hotel is very conveniently located and walkable to restaurants and shopping. It’s a perfectly acceptable value hotel and we’d stay here again!

Perfectly acceptable value hotel. Three stars? That might be optimistic. Small room, small bathroom, comfortable bed, all functional, all good. Obviously a location convenient to the train station and about a 10-minute walk from the historic center. Very pleasant and helpful front desk. Breakfast was a bit on the basic side but acceptable. I would stay again.

We had a rental car with us, so having some spaces out front of this hotel to temporarily park our car to unload our luggage to check in was priceless. There is a garage near by just a short walk away. The front desk staff were always friendly. English speaking so that was helpful since our French is very poor. The location is superb. Restaurants, patisserie, small grocery store, café all just steps away. We also walked to visit Chateau Angers and the cathedral from here. No need to drive anywhere. In the early morning, there were street noise noticeable from delivery and road traffic. Some notes for travelers: the hotel did not have AC. Only on the ground level with AC where reception is located. That was tough for the afternoon since it was warm. But once the sun went down, we were able to open the windows to let some cool air in. Also, the hotel does have an elevator, but that is on a floor up. If you are unable to lift luggage or walk stairs, need to keep that in mind. The front desk does assist with luggage if needed.

A very basic hotel in Anger close to the Railway Station. It promotes itself as a family run hotel, which is nice. Unfortunately the family either cannot afford to maintain the hotel or it is a simple revenue stream with no investment. Rooms are dated and sad. Facilities are non existent. In our room the pretence of environmental values equalled one of everything. One shampoo, one robe, one bath towel!!! Final straw for a “4 star” hotel - water in the room is priced at 4 euros. Reception (manned by 15 year olds) confirmed “water except eau de pumps, must be paid for”. By comparison we stayed at the Anne D’Anjou in Saumur last night. 3 * with bottled water in the rooms and evidence of an extensive and ongoing investment in the property. Hotel de France , Angers. Goodbye from us. You will not be missed.

Très bel hôtel à 2 minutes de la gare,calme.très jolie chambre. Vue sur la place et la gare,avec une Super literie.petit déjeuner copieux et un très bon accueil par Corentin notre réceptionniste de nuit.merci aussi pour accepter nos bagages en consigne pour quelques heures a notre retour A bientôt

De passage à Angers, nous avons beaucoup apprécié l’hôtel, notamment pour son isolation phonique (quartier animé), la literie (2 très bons oreillers par personne !), l’eau de la douche bien chaude, un grand nombre de chaînes télé dispos, de belles chambres et pour son personnel très avenant et aimable. Nous y retournerons à l’occasion !

Chambre avec tout le nécessaire pas très grande mais suffisante, salle de bain propre, bon petit déjeuner (du choix avec du sucré et du salé) et personnel très agréable. Je recommande. Hôtel très bien placé, proche du château et du centre-ville.

attention a la facturation. le réceptionniste m'a prélevé 36 euros de trop et impossible de ce faire rembourser malgré plusieurs relance restant sans réponse. limite malhonnête !!!!! prestation moyenne. Sébastien.
