Great stay with friendly and helpful staff. Suitable for people with mobility issues where the indoor pool has ramps for safety and a lifeguard in attendance most days. Room and bathroom were large and suitable for wheelchairs users.The bed was comfortable (not the pillows for us) and cleaned daily.The bathroom could do with bleach to remove marks on tiles and inside the toilet to look pristine but it was acceptable . The reception staff always smiling welcoming and helpful. The restaurant food was good but limited if you stay more than a week .If you opted for half board you have more choice. Both back and front house staff were friendly and accomodating for special requests ,thank you. In all great stay and we'll be back!

Excellent location to enjoy a walk along the active sea promenade. Very professional team provided all needed information at check-in. Comfortable bedroom, clean bathroom, soothing atmosphere, light and tasty decoration. Healthy options for breakfast.

Very pleasant trip. Room are enough big, confortable, modern. Bed are quite firm, but really good for the back. Climatisation is working really properly and pushing it to fast mode, is quite silent. Very quiet as well from etxernal ,noise. The italian shower is spacious and water pressure is good enough. Really nice to have WC separately from the bathroom. The breakfast is really complete, with a nice view on the ocean. Swimming pool is really nice, with 2 ground level fro kids and adults. People at reception are really nice and always ready to help. A really nice place to be in Anglet close to surf spots and quite close to all restaurants in Anglet. At least with a bike, it's 6-7mn. I can only recommend.

What a jewel of a hotel/spa/resort. I have spent the last few years going to Maestro Jordi Savall’s magical festival at Abbaye De Fontfroide and exploring the exhilarating countryside of France. My husband and I plan to move here after 40 years in Washington DC. We are both enamored with France and the French and hope to spend our years living here. I love the Mediterranean and was not especially enthusiastic about exploring France’s Atlantic Ocean side. Was I ever wrong. Hotel Altlanthal is a jewel among jewels. Of the hundreds of hotels I have been in on both sides of the Atlantic, few compare to this jewel of a resort. The views of the ocean and sunsets are beautiful. The room was clean and luxurious. The restaurant had delicious, fresh seafood that melts in your mouth. My husband and I were blown away. I won’t even mention our dessert. Does any place on earth compare to the French? What sets the Hotel Atlanthal apart is the people. The customer service was beautifully done. Thé quiet, thé calm, the humility and the constant cheerfulness made me relax and feel like a guest in their home. Excellent work, Hotel Atlanthal. You shine.
