The Yuppi Hippi Hideout

Excellent place to stay and extremely close to the beach and popular bar and restaurant ***** beach here. Roads are narrow but that’s the way to enjoy Goa and Anjuna beach. It’s one of the places I have enjoyed my morning coffee watching ocean and with a total peace of mind.

We had booked 2 nights at this place. Unfortunately, we had to cancel because when we went to check out the place we realized that it's access is not family friendly. It has to be accessed through unpaved uphill roads, which is pitch dark at night and hence risky for families with parents and children. This was not mentioned anywhere on the website or on Trip Advisor reviews. Since the property doesn't have food options, it would require driving up/down for every meal. No food places in walking distances. When I suggested to the manager that this would b a vital point to be mentioned on the site, he gave me long lecture about how that wasn't his job. So inputs/suggestions are definitely not appreciated or welcome. Good to know! However, this could be a great place for young people/couples, who want some privacy and peace. We had to pay a 50% advance, which wasn't refunded. The manager said he would refund upon receiving another booking. Although he did receive another booking, he then mentioned that that party too had cancelled. Hence, no refund. Putting this review up, so that everyone can make an informed choice while booking

Wir hatten für viel Geld das seaside Appartement. Leider war es viel zu laut! *** kann die ganze Nacht durch bis vormittags das Gewummere der Disco am Strand hören. Schlaf ist so nur schwer möglich! Leider sehr schade! Die Lage zum Strand ist sonst sehr gut und auch die Anlage sehr gepflegt.
