Our travel agent booked this hotel for our one night stay as we were flying out via Ankara Airport. This is a very old hotel in an old part of Ankara, definitely not a 4 star hotel by any standards, it felt more like a lodge or a B&B. The hotel main door opens right onto a busy street. There were few grocery stores in the vicinity and there were no fast food restaurants nearby. We checked-in after midnight and we were not sure if there were any food options nearby (the hotel room service was closed), so the bellboy came with me to show a Turkish restaurant (about 100m away from the hotel) which was open at that time of the night. The hotel elevators were from the 90's and could hardly fit 4 people. The airport is a 20 mins drive from the hotel. The rooms had thin walls, very basic with no mini bar, no ironing board or even a trash bin. The TV only had Turkish channels. The mini fridge that was located in the wardrobe had 2 small water cuplets. The AC and WiFi in the rooms seemed to be good. The Shower cubicle was very small and tap water seemed heavily chlorinated. The breakfast, which was served on the 20th Floor was the worst breakfast that I ever had. Nothing was labeled or tasted good, even the coffee / juice (which ruined the morning).
