Super 8 by Wyndham Ankeny/Des Moines Area

This place is one that I all ways go back to. They're very friendly. The room is always clean. There is truck or camper trailers. The price is amazing for the location. In a walking distance to not only restaurants, bars, gas stations and more.

This is a great place to stop while traveling through the Des Moines area. The staff and the rooms are perfect. I've been coming here for almost 5 years on and off. The restaurant next door is also very convenient and one of the best Mexican restaurants in town. When I'm traveling if I come even close to the area I will go out of my way to stay at this super 8.

This was the first time for us leaving our son at Ames for college as a freshman. We expected to buy what he needed for this semester close to Ames, therefore, staying in Ankeny was for sure the right decision, given the variety of shopping/stores/outlets in the area, and location halfway between DSM airport and ISU. However, hospitality surpassed it all. The personnel was extremely caring, friendly, and helpful-always attentive to any question or need, we are certainly happy and grateful for their attentions- making us feel like “family” . Rooms were clean and tidy, breakfast is offered every day, and parking is ample and always available. There are also many restaurants in the area. Fun activities such as The High Trestle Trail, Adventureland, and Boone attractions also in the area.

The TV/remote in our room did not work. The beds were as hard as a rock. The furniture and carpeting needed upgraded/replaced.

Omg! What I can say for! Perfect according to my expectations. Staff always helpful and supportive. I’m staying with them since last couple weeks and many more weeks. Thank you for your service and cleanliness. I suggest this place to others who looking for a place to stay.

The service and rooms are great. They made sure to tend to me and my crews ever need. The rooms were very clean and up to date. I always make plans to stay at this hotel when I’m in this area. It has a very convenient location to restaurant and shopping centers.

Are you looking for a good place to stay.? This is the place for you. The hotel staff was very friendly. This is a very clean hotel right off the interstate and it was quiet. Our beds were super comfortable. Breakfast was great. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Do not stay here. Room smelled like wet dirty carpet, there was 2 spiders in my room, toilets was always clogging and we had no hot water the 2nd morning. They have a pool with no water in it and it's all closed off. Spent wayyy to much money for this pay by the hour motel. I felt unsafe bc the back entrance did not lock anyone could walk right in.

Exceeded expectations. Room was clean, good shower, good location with plenty of restaurants and easy access to major highways. Relaxing atmosphere and very friendly and accommodating staff here. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to a friend or family.
