Château de Lalande - Teritoria - Périgueux

We had a fantastic stay. Beautiful chateau, beautiful grounds, beautiful pool, big room, nice bathroom, and a good restaurant. Definitely eat at least one meal at the restaurant. Make sure you allow enough time to wander the grounds - don't just show up for dinner and leave first thing the next morning.

WONDERFUL WONDERFUL WONDERFUL My husband and I walked the 38-day Chemin de Vézelay (Way of St. Jacques) and we can say without doubt this was an exception experience. Really, everything was perfect. We stayed in the gorgeous and spacious Grand Concert de Mozart room and didn't want to leave this lap of luxury. Our dinner was fantastic with the chef/owner cooking a gourmet meal. They have an extensive wine list so we splurged on a bottle of Bollinger champagne. The prices were very reasonable. Ohhh la la. This was a night in paradise. Seriously, stay here. Don't bother looking anywhere else.

This hotel is hands-on run by the owners and that counts for a lot. If they weren’t so in charge, I’d probably rate the hotel a three star, as staff always seemed rather clueless, or simply could not be found. We had a lovely junior suite with everything we could want, only slight downside was the bathroom products were not very good (no bar of soap for example) so we simply bought some nice stuff when out sightseeing. A pretty building, with lovely original features, great modern pool and enough grounds to let you feel you have escaped – oddly no real external views as the property is surrounded by trees. Food was lovely, all the things I love from the region, wonderfully fresh and interesting combinations. Wine list was very good and we worked our way through it with great advice from the owner. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, I was hoping for lots of fresh fruit and the likes. Understandably, with business still picking up there was no daytime menu, or room service, but that wasn’t the end of the world as there are loads of great places to eat within a 20 minute drive. If in the region would certainly stay again.

Excellent déjeuner ce 14 février dans le restaurant Alsacien éphémère qui fonctionne de Novembre à mars dans cet établissement. Le menu st Valentin était extrêmement raffiné En dehors de l'hiver, cet hôtel ouvre ses portes avec un restaurant moins typé Alsace que je m'engage à tester le moment venu.

Accueil exceptionnel, charme et confort avec une excellente restauration ! Un petit déjeuner de classe dans un petit salon intime Tout y est !!! N’hésitez pas une seconde pour vous y rendre et encore,je ne parle pas du parc avec sa belle piscine

Séjour merveilleux, accueil chaleureux dans ce beau château, avec professionnalisme et gentillesse. Les chambre sont spacieuses, le confort est parfait, les repas et petits déjeuners sont superbes avec des choix dignes d'un 5 étoiles, servi avec élégance et surtout amabilité.
