Santa Marina Hotel

Хороший отель. Плюсы: близко к общественному пляжу, чисто, чай- кофе и вода бесплатно даже без питания. Минусы : далеко от старого города, вокзала,от общественного транспорта. Такси с Тц Марк Анталия стоило 155 лир

Vi har verkligen njutit av vår vistelse på Santa Marina. Rent, bra läge och vänlig personal. Vi anlände sent på kvällen men incheckningen var snabb och effektiv. Vi hade ett fint dubbelrum med kylskåp och det var rent. Vi bad om två kuddar till och en stol till balkongen, vilket tillhandahölls snabbt. Frukosten är riklig, flingor, sallad, ostar, kött, ägg etc. och te, kaffe, juice, vatten. Vi skulle återvända. Läget är bra, 3 minuters promenad till stranden. Massor av grönområden och parker för barn om du hade det, och träningsutrustning. Massor av lokala butiker. Området i sig är dyrt för drinkar på restauranger, men måltider ute är inte avhämtning, drinkar från butiker är lägre än brittiska priser.

I will not return to this hotel even if they offered it for free, it was totally different from the pictures. A huge mess, everything very very old, the parquet was raised, the old and miserable wardrobes that you could not put your clothes in it. The bathroom... I have no words how much rust, mold and dampness. The ancient air conditioning with no effect. The TV was smaller than a computer monitor. The refrigerator smelled of spoiled food, it could not be otherwise because if you leave the room all the light turns off, so does the refrigerator, you have no possibility of having or cold water. The bed, the linens including the curtains smelled very old. We asked to change our room, the receptionist showed us four more rooms, then we realized that they were all just as dirty and old. The food... we had breakfast the first day, until we saw where and how it was cooked, the next day I had diarrhea. I DO NOT RECOMMEND EVEN FOR FREE.

One of the worst places ive been, ever! First off. Our flight was late on, left Gatwick airport at 8.pm. arived at the hotel about 1.30am their time, later than we had hoped, due to delays. We were greeted with "your late im waiting". After checking in we were given our keycard and found our room, we only had 2 very flat very hard pillows so i asked for 2 more, was told to wait untill the morning. I tried for 3 days asking for 2 pillows, after 5 times of asking we got them. The bed was absolutely solid. Close to sleeping on the floor its that hard, the AC didn't do to much other than making us both ill, checking the filters on it they are completely cloged up with dust. The first morning we tried the food. Breakfast. It was awful, everything sat out no covers, flys all over it, not even canteen food. The best thing was prob some bits of bread. The swimming pool burnt our skin there was so much chlorine in it. Your could smell it, moreso than a normal pool, we had to go shower of to stop the burning, some pool kids got it in their eyes. The outdoor shower floor was just full of slimy moss never been cleaned by the looks of it. There is no outdoor bar like described on 'on the beach' nor is there a snack bar. There is a lobby bar, with several bottles of alcohol like vodka, rum, and gin, others too, we aksed for a drink to be told we are not allowed that stuff, all we can have is beer, wine and fizzy. The beer was warm and flat and you could only have half a can at a time. Everything was dirty. The bedside draws were moldy and stained. The bathroom was horrible, silicone was black with mold shower wasnt attached properly to the wall. Toilet didnt work all the time, soap dispensers for the shower, First of didnt have much in there, what was there was cloudy and smelt horrible, and had a plastic wrapper in one. The drain in the floor was completely cloged and the tap was so dirty. The wardrobe with the fridge in it, the handle was falling off. There was a plug socket half out the wall. The lighting in the room is terrible with only a hallway light, and not a whole room light.

March 22. Booked and paid 2 king beds, received a room with one bed. Went down, the guy at the reception, young fellow on his 5th day as a receptionist gave me a different room, same floor. He had less experience but a big attitude, very ignorant and sarcastic. Went up, the door wont open, went down, game me a new card, went up, still not working. Went down, grabbed him, turned out the electronic door lock was faulty. Gave me another room again on the 5th floor this time. Room ok this time, 2 double or queen beds, definitely not king size, they don't know what that is, but the heat didn't work. Called him twice, he came twice, still no heat in the room. It was already 10 pm by then. I said I'll take a hot water and go to bed. Another surprise, no hot water, just lukewarm and the shower had no pressure, it was barely dripping. The hotel is nice but the staff is terrible. Not much to comment on the breakfast, typical, not rich not pour, just enough to get you going. Find alternatives if you can.

Staff is great! My room was cleaned every day without any reminders and that’s what I really appreciate. Also there is a pool with like 10 sunbeds which can be useful. On the other hand the food tastes like it is cooked for dogs. The furniture is old. We had a balcony, but there were no chairs or tables or anything. Soundproof is absent, we were able to hear people from the other part of the building. The location is so-so, has several cafes, shops and ATM’s around. The nearest beach is moderate - too crowded and dirty. Wouldn’t consider to come here again
