We stayed at Miracle Resort in July 2025 with our family of five, booking a family suite in the newer wing. While the room itself was modern and clean, the overall experience was disappointing and far below what you'd expect from a 5-star resort – especially considering the price we paid. Upon arrival in the late evening (following a 1.5-hour baggage delay at the airport), our shuttle had already left without us. Once we finally got to the hotel, we received no welcome, no explanation, no map – not even a welcome drink. Staff just handed us a room card. That lack of hospitality set the tone for the rest of our stay. The main restaurant was chaotic, noisy, and overcrowded at every meal. It felt more like a school cafeteria than a resort. There’s no enforced dress code – people showed up in swimwear, tank tops, and flip-flops for dinner. The outdoor area is technically “open-air,” but fully covered and filled with smoke. Non-smokers and families are regularly forced to sit among smokers, especially when certain sections are closed. Even in the non-smoking area, people were openly vaping! You don’t get any complimentary à-la-carte experience, unlike in other Turkish resorts we’ve stayed at. You have to pay extra – and even then, it’s not worth it. For example, the fish restaurant is located right next to the kids’ disco of the neighboring hotel. After 8 PM, the noise is so loud you can’t enjoy your meal. Instead of premium dining, it felt like eating inside a theme park. When we asked about drink menus, staff couldn’t provide any. Guest Relations eventually pulled a book-style menu out of a locked cabinet – as if we were lying by saying we hadn’t seen one. But throughout our entire stay, no bar had a menu available, despite the fact that many drinks incur an additional charge. That kind of confusion shouldn’t happen at a so-called 5-star Ultra Inclusive hotel. The à-la-carte restaurant also had almost no drink options – just beer and gin-tonic. If you wanted something else, the waiter had to fetch it from a completely different bar. That’s unacceptable when you’re paying extra for the meal. Room cleaning was superficial. After three days, there was still dust and sand under the cabinets. We had to request extra towels (we were five people but only received four). Accessories like cotton buds were missing – yet we got five nail files. Also, we never received the bathrobes advertised in our booking. We told staff it was our daughter’s birthday – they kindly offered a small cake. But when we asked if they could add a candle or sparkler, the manager said it would cost €10. That just felt petty, especially at a resort charging over €600 per night. The kids’ club was too small, too loud, and not a safe or welcoming space for our daughter. We tried speaking to Guest Relations, but most of the team were very young and clearly untrained. One woman even made us feel like we were exaggerating or being dishonest. We submitted a formal written complaint
