Hôtel le Petit Castel

We loved our stay here, the hosts are amazing and were super helpful with any of our questions! The rooms are a little compact (the pictures are entirely accurate), but everything has a place. The cleaners are also brilliant - our room was always spotlessly cleaned. The air con is also fantastic, and the shutters totally block the light out, didn’t hear a peep of noise - we slept brilliantly. We only had breakfast there once and it was delicious, the outside space at the hotel is super cute, with lots of detail and thought put in. There is also a wine bar, with very reasonably priced and delicious wines. The hotel is in between juan les pin and Antibes - we preferred to go to Jean le pin beaches in the day and Antibes for the evening. If you like running there’s a great 5 mile loop from the hotel which is handy. All in all a fab stay!

Wonderful hotel. Such lovely, accommodating owners who go above and beyond to help. Beautiful breakfasts in their outdoor courtyard. A short walk from all the action of the town and beach. Wonderful boutique hotel. We travelled with a 6 year old and a 2 year old and split between 2 rooms as the room are small and cannot accommodate 2 adults and a child.

I had the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel staying here. Coming in, we were charmed by the familial feel of the hotel. The male owner was very welcoming and from check in, gave us recommendations about the area and everything we needed to know about the hotel. We were staying for a while, so we were satisfied with the charm and amiable male host. However, the cleaning person was extremely rude. When asking if she could come back for turn-down service 5 minutes later. She started to rush us, saying that it was her last room. She left garbage in the room leading us to believe that we had to throw away our trash somewhere outside the hotel. The female host was also extremely rude from the beginning of our stay. We had started to avoid her when we could. We did not feel comfortable asking her questions or running into her at all. We were told all of the fees that came with borrowing towels and breakfast, etc. at check in. Yet, when we went down to the desk to ask for towels, she acted like we couldn’t afford to rent them (a few euros per towel). We had two rooms under different names and different reservations for four people. As one person in our party got sick, one person was forced to get a room at a nearby hotel for the last night of our 8 night stay. We planned to check out and meet at the other hotel to catch our train. At checkout for the one room, we were told charges that did not compute. Upon looking at the itemized bill we tried to reconcile the bill with the items and services used (breakfast, minibar, towels). The calculations were off. The other person in our party had to come back to dispute the charges. We informed the woman that we had a train to catch and we don’t have time for the wrong charges. She told us to wake up earlier. I indicated that that is horrible customer service and used some choice words. She did not have anything to say. Finally she recalculated and gave us the correct price. I paid and turned to leave as our car had arrived to take us to the train station. She started to inquire about the other room that the sick person was still in (a completely different reservation). As two of us stated that the other person was still in their room (this was ahead of the checkout time) and we had a train to catch. She grabbed the third person’s bag as they were pushing it toward the entrance, in an effort to stop us from leaving. She started to play tug of war with the bag. As three of us sternly tell her to let go of the bag, she finally does. It seemed that because all of our party consists of young adults and most of us black young adults, the female host had decided from the beginning of our stay to be rude. We kept the rooms clean and adhered to all rules, so the poor attitude was extremely uncalled for. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, it was charming but basic and her actions were inexcusable. There are much better hotels in the area. Do not stay here! Charging the wrong price should warrant an apolog

Quaint hotel in the most ideal location to walk to Juan Les Pins and Antibes, perfect for strolling to the beach and out for dinner. The owners were absolutely delightful and provide such wonderful hospitality! The breakfasts were a particular highlight, plenty of pastries, fresh fruit and juices and there is also a wine bar at the hotel which is a great addition. The size of the rooms are not a compromise in any way, which is more than offset by the great location. An excellent visit to Le Petit Castel!

Coup de coeur pour ce sympathique hotel ! Chambre agréable, literie parfaite, déco soignée, petit dejeuner copieux et en prime Nicolas et Orlane , les patrons, sont adorables ! Un cocon au milieu de la foule estivale de Juan les Pins qui est à 5 minutes à pied ! Je recommande vivement !!!

Questo meraviglioso hotel si trova in una posizione ottima, 10 minuti a piedi da Juan les Pins e 10 da Antibes. Abbiamo soggiornato per tre notti e ci siamo sentiti coccolati da tutto il personale. Cordialità, disponibilità, attenzione al cliente contraddistingue questa struttura da molte altre. La camera moderna, pulita e molto carina. Tutto è curato nei minimi dettagli. Abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo anche la possibilità di fare la colazione in giardino con prodotti tipici francesi. Grazie di cuore per aver contribuito a rendere ancora più bello e rilassante il nostro weekend in Costa Azzurra! Lodovica e Luca
