Places of interest just walking distance from the hotel. Surrounding have many restaurants and cafes. Have booked a room with view of Cathedral of Our Lady.

Stinky, stinky, stinky is all that needs to be said, th hallways smell putrid. Not really, i do warn you that this hotel poses significant safety hazards. The shower in my room was malfuniction and spraying all over the room and the head was flying all over the place and could hit someone head. The entire floor got wet and slippery. There is no door to the bathroom, just a skimpy curtain. Food in the restaurant is ok. View is good. I do not recommend these rooms for anyone other than couples do to inadequate privacy standards.

Though a little tricky to find, this family-run hotel is a wonderful place to stay in Antwerp. Truly a boutique hotel with quirky decor, it boasts a great location just off the plaza in front of the cathedral and directly adjacent to a street loaded with restaurants of every ethnicity. Sarah gave us a warm welcome on arrival and a list of a few restaurants to consider. One, Arte, became a trip favorite and we dined there twice. See separate review. As mentioned by another reviewer, the street can be lively/noisy at weekends but the large windows are double glazed and earplugs are provided (which I did not need). Beds are quite comfortable. The buffet breakfast has many good choices. I would not hesitate to return here. The warmth and friendliness made it special.

A great hotel. My husband and I stayed for a long weekend (4 nights) and were very pleased that we chose Hotel O Kathedral. The location was excellent - within walking distance of many of the sights, as well as easy access to the underground and trams. Our room was comfortable, clean and stylish, with a lovely view of the cathedral. The bed was comfortable. There was enough storage space for our clothes etc. We were a bit uncertain about the bath/shower being in the bedroom. But no need to worry, privacy can be protected with a very effective curtain around the bath. The toilet is in its own cubicle. There is a cafe/bar downstairs in which breakfast is served. We only had coffee and croissant but the breakfast buffet looked very good. The staff deserve a special mention. They were very friendly and attentive. They were extremely helpful when we asked them for help with a problem we had. One note of caution. The area around the hotel has many restaurants and bars and can get noisy at night, particularly at the weekends. We slept very well, but light sleepers might benefit from earplugs, which are supplied by the hotel.

Hotel is very worthwile, excellent price-quality. Great room with bath incorporated and view on the cathedral. Ear-plugs are a wonderful idea : no noise-trouble whatsoever! Only downside: bar-service. After a 30’ wait we checked on our order, which seemed to have been ‘forgotten’… no excuses, nothing. Very unprofessional. Breakfast, on the contrary, was ansolutely great!

Cosy and romantic in a good location at the cathedral. Small but perfect for the weekend couple. Nice breakfast in a quiet cafe style environment. The area was disturbed at night by screaming people. Should have used the supplied ear plugs.

Great hotel: perfect location and unique rooms. Also great customer service, as we had a problem with the room, they solved it well. We had a nice room on the top floor with a nice view on the kathedral. During the night there are many people on the streets, however it is not disturbing.

Fantastic hotel in the heart of the old city, just across from the cathedral you can see from the window. Beautiful modern rooms, and nice eatery on the ground floor. Enjoyed my stay there; no complaints of any kind.
