This place is worth every penny! Paradise on earth with plenty of space and activities in a gorgeous setting. You've got free bikes that come with the room to explore the area which is surrounded by jungle, rice paddies and lakes. The food is delicious and the hosts are friendly and welcoming. Would strongly recommend!!

We had an amazing stay in Ulagalla. From the beautiful rooms with swimming pool, to the wonderful team and very tasty food. A shout out to the Kamatha dining experience (please don't have any lunch because it's a lot of food) and the scenic drive throught the village nearby. Thank you for having us!

Me and My Wife stayed at Uga Ulagalla as part of our honeymoon and it was simply an amazing time! The location, ambience, food, activities and service of each staff member was just spectacular and frankly otherworldly! The level of thought and care that Uga staff members had for us as guests was truly marvelous. This level of customer service and care is unmatched in other establishments in my honest opinion. The Food was served as courses, and the variety of the menu was spectacular and the taste and quality was the same if not better! The Room, it's layout and it's facilities are something to behold! From the fabulous use of space to the thoughtful layout of the bedroom, living room and washroom, it was stunning! And as a bonus to have a proper high quality Bluetooth speaker (a Marshall Woburn) as part of the room facilities was something totally unexpected but added so much to our stay! In summary, I would recommend Uga Ulagalla to anyone in a heartbeat and I hope to go back there soon!

We arrived at the hotel : gorgeous setting. Very green, lush and serene. They always welcome you with tea, juice and a cold towel. We were driven to our villa, because the park is quite big. You can always call them when you need to move around, they will send a buggy…or just ride your own bike, which is even nicer ! We rode our bikes everywhere, it’s convenient and part of the experience. The villas are huge, with their own plunge pool, very private. Very well maintained and comfortable. They were renovating the pool (July 2025) and the gym was also closed (too much dust). We weren’t informed about the gym, which was disappointing…however they brought the gym to our villa ! Weights and yoga mats. We really appreciated the gesture ! We were also offered a complimentary massage to compensate for the lack of communication. Again, really appreciated. The team wants to make sure you are happy : thanks to Yoshina and her colleagues at the front desk, they made our stay special. The breakfast is served a la carte, lots of options to choose from. Same goes for dinner, meat, fish and veggie options. We had really tasty food there ! The hotel is a bubble, they make sure you’re happy and take care of you from the minute you set foot in the property.

one of the best hotels i ever seen in a while I have been to many countries and hotels and this is one of the best I have seen they have nice views and activities and very very nice room and the staff and bike paths are just in top of world and their was a staff called Dimuthu he was very kind and very helpful .
