Globales Cala Blanca

Lovely hotel with friendly staff, all areas clean with plenty of sun beds round the pool but food a huge disappointment. Same selection day after day, breakfast, lunch & dinner constantly just warm or cold. No food was hot, no pasta station to order what you would like just cold spaghetti with a sauce. Ate out twice at lovely restaurant 3 minute walk away overlooking the beach. Rooms basic but everything you need. Shower over bath. We had a pool view room sadly without a blackout blind which caused the room to be roasting by late afternoon. Definitely not a four star, I would state three star but overall a pleasant stay and very close to a small beach

visited the hotel a bit skeptical at first as i couldn’t see many reviews/ pics of food beds etc. was very mixed reviews but we arrived and were quite pleased straight off the bat. the reception is very clean and the staff are lovely. The rooms are quite small but they have everything you need, are clean and get cleaned daily/new towels etc. The pillows are great however the beds are really not the comfiest. The AC works but isn’t the greatest. There is a gym upsatirs with the basics. Free weights go up to 30kg there is 2 excercises bikes and 1 treadmill. I will say i don’t have much to complain about the food their was something new everyday for lunch and dinner dd different selections of meats everyday a salad bar etc. Breakfast is more or less the same everyday which was expected. eggs goats bacon cereal yogurt fruit.. i will say when it comes to lunch and dinner we did find the food (only some) to be very very oily. we had a lamb stew one night which was delicious however we couldn’t finish it as our plates were drenched in oil. same for any of the fish so we stuck to chicken wings and whatever else. The drinks(cocktails) are nice but very watered down. there is a vending machine in the hotel with crisps chocolate as there isn’t a snack bar throughout the day. Overall we had a good experience i couldn’t fault any of the staff all lovely and attentive. If you compare the hotel to other 4 stars it definitely isn’t a 4 star hotel but still a good option!! side note: has nothing to do with the hotel it’s self but we noticed most people staying in the hotel were extremely rude. Not sure if this was because myself and other people are younger but we noticed there was no please/thank you’s or excuse me etc from other people staying here and just overall rudeness pushing in and whatever else.

We arrived lunchtime and our room was nearly ready, so beer first then it was ready. ROOM... Decent size, nice and clean. Never enuff drawers but hey hoe. Balcony looked out to inland scenery so was ok STAFF... Sooo polite, can't do enuff for you from bar staff to housekeeping really nice staff. BAR.... Only 2 drinks each at a time which is a bit of a pain when there's 6 of us but u just have to get used to it. POOL... The pool is freezing there's no getting away from it. But u get used to it lol. FOOD.... Was ok, nuffin special. I expected more from a Globales hotel but was ok. OVERALL... We are on our second week here, half term is a lot busier but it's ok Wud we cum bk? Not necessarily as there's much going on outside the hotel , but we r having a great holiday. One downside is there's only one lift and it's a 3 person capacity. Overall great value for money
