We stayed in this hotel in 2018 and back then it was dated, it’s sad to see that nothing has been completed to bring the hotel into 2024. The pool was the best feature but that had the lights falling off and leaks over the perimeter wall every day. The slabs around the pool are all lifting and also uneven. It is a true shame as this hotel and location has incredible potential. The rooms again are very dated, aircon is ineffective and also smells. Balcony woodwork also needs attention as voids and damp have been filled with expanding foam. This isn’t good enough and the handrails are not safe. We stayed on the top floor, good thing was we had zero ants, bad thing was the dangerous handrails (felt they was going to fall apart) The good parts…. Incredible staff especially the lady who runs the snack bar, although she needs an extra pair of hands during the busy season! Sister hotel again the staff are great even catered for our son who has food intolerances. Each day we was made to feel incredibly welcome and was given a full rundown of the food and the ingredients. This was great service! Evening entertainment needs some thought though. The magician was mediocre, and the volume was way too high for such a small place. I really loved this hotel but sadly unless some repairs are undertaken immediately I can only suggest people avoid it. There is better value for money within the same area

We stayed here for a week. Me, hubby, daughter and granddaughter. Yes it is a two star apartment block. We read the reviews and they are pretty accurate. For what we paid the accommodation was about what we expected. Reception staff were lovely. Very friendly and helpful. There are three blocks. We were in block A on the first floor facing the reception building. As reception is only one storey we had fabulous views over the sea. Our balcony was in the shade most of the day but we got the sun early evening and a lovely sunset view. The balcony is small. Only two people can sit out at a time. Windows and balcony doors are wooden and single glazed and have seen better days. All the windows had shutters that you could open/close as preferred. If the day was breezy and you have more than one door or window open the wind slams the internal doors shut. We propped doors open with cushions and chairs. Sofa covering and curtains all looked pretty new. Walls were clean and looked freshly painted. Some of the furniture and doors had deterioration at floor level where either the room had flooded at some point or from mopping the floor regularly. Table and chairs in kitchen area, sofa and coffee table in sitting area with a long cupboard which the TV sat on. Sofa not very comfortable so used pillows to soften it up a bit. Basic wardrobes and hangers in both bedrooms. Double bed in one room and two singles in the other. Beds were very uncomfortable for us. We requested extra pillows which came very quickly. The mattresses however were some of the worst ones we have experienced on holiday. We used the spare blankets to try and make them a bit more comfortable. Kitchen area had two hob rings and a mini oven. The oven had one shelf and you could cook half a pizza at a time. There was also a microwave, toaster and kettle. Basic kitchen utensils, pans and cutlery. Basic kitchen cupboards in need of upgrading. Washing up items of cloth, sponge, towel and washing up liquid were supplied as well as a mop, bucket and sweeping brush. These were useful for cleaning up after a two year old. We never had any ants in the apartment and we followed the instructions and kept all food in the fridge. The bathroom was small but the shower area was big with enough hot water and a fairly decent water pressure. The towels were the best hotel towels I have ever had. Nice and thick and of a decent size. The cleaner came in once mid week. The pool area is nice and clean with a little pool bar that does snacks. We went every day to the pool for an hour or so at different times of the day. There were always sunbeds available. It was a lovely peaceful area. We also went a couple of times to the pool areas in the sister hotel. That was busier but again we always got sunbeds. The hotel is near the beach and lots of amazing restaurants to choose from. We read the reviews before we went and knew it was 2 star so weren’t expecting much to be honest, however we were pleasantly surprised. We arrived late morning and had a lovely welcome and quick check in. We were lucky enough to get a room in the first block looking out to the see which was really lovely. Yes the apartments are dated and tired but they are clean and adequate and the shower/water pressure was among the best we’ve had ! We asked for more pillows and they were they in the blink of an eye. The pool area is lovely with a great bar/snack area. Week one it was very quiet around the pool and sunbeds were still available late morning. The second week was much busier and there seemed to be quite a few people using the pool - perhaps from the sister hotel but it did then start some people reserving sunbeds which was a shame. The location was great - just a short walk to the beach and the great selection of restaurants and a shop close by too. All in all a great holiday.
