Windmill Hotel

A great hotel, set back from the noise of the main road. Lots of shops, restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. Not a resort if you like the beach tho - its very small!! We booked a twin room but there were 3 beds. The 3rd one got in the way making the space tight. The little kitchen area was really useful although we didn't use the hob. But having a fridge and kettle was great. Room was a little tired looking and the air con - which you have to pay for - could do with an upgrade. But it served a purpose. Breakfast buffet was all you could ask for. Lots of choice, always kept topped up and the food was great. Receptionist was really helpful and would organise a taxi - which are really hard to get hold of. Pool area is small but clean. Guests do reserve sunbeds tho so be aware. Overall a great holiday.

This is a very good hotel!! All the staff are very nice and very helpfull! Hotel is clean, rooms are cleand and the food is perfect!! Even the housekeeping is so so nice, so if you need a good hotel, go to Windmill!!

How is this only a 2 star it should be more . As a first time solo traveler I was made to feel extremely welcome and at ease . All the staff was extremely helpful big shout out to dense for my amazing mango daiquiri and Christine for giving me helpful tips on where to go . Will definitely come back thank you

Everything about this hotel is excellent, the rooms, friendly staff , the pool and restaurant, the rooms cleaned every day by the most wonderful people, the location next to the sea and restaurants, bars, shops etc 2 star no way this is 4 star.

Just got back from a week's holiday at the windmill. We have been coming here on & off for 20 years. Its a great place to unwind & chill. Great pool & no problem getting sun beds. We stayed half board & were given a room in the annexe overlooking the pool. We have always stayed in the main block. Our room was small & tbf was very dated, bathroom needs an overhaul, but the bed & pillows were fab, best nights sleep ever. Breakfast is fabulous & is buffet style from cooked full english to greek yoghurt, pastries & even cheese toasties. As we were half board our evening meal was taken in the outside pool bar, you can basically have anything you want from the bar menu. It's not very greek but hits the spot. If half board you are allowed to eat in their new seafront restaurant across the road called Kavos. it's stunning here, beautiful view of Zante town & food very good. Most items are free but some you pay extra for. The meatball starter was the best we have had anywhere. We were sad to hear of the sudden passing of the owner Dennis the week before. He was a great character & will be missed. All the staff are very friendly & work hard to let you enjoy your stay. We will definitely be back.

You can expect an amazing stay at the Windmill Bay, we went early June and just wished we had booked for longer, everything from the accommodation, food quality, cleanliness and friendly staff was first class, the pool area was spotless and the water temperature just perfect no shivering on the side, just walk straight in, and just down a few steps and you are in the sea perfect. Another thing worth mentioning is the Al a carte restaurant in the evening a little expensive but well worth it the food was excellent, and the setting wonderful,outside with views of Zante Town across the bay. The hotels location was very good about a 10-15 minute stroll into Argassi center where there are restaurants and shops in abundance, and be sure to take a ride into Zante Town on the road fun train. We had only one problem in our suite (309) and that was the shower which flooded the bathroom on every use, we reported this on the first day but it was not rectified.
