Hotel Papillon

Nice hotel in the busiest part of argassi, even though it's situated in the heart of the town the noise is minimal. The rooms are spotless and modern ,beds really comfortable. The aircon is very good and free. We stayed in room 426 on the first floor , the balcony is narrow and not the best but with nice view of the pool which got quite busy even though it's late September. Breakfast is just ok , no brown sauce though. Reception is great and resolved all our issues without hesitation. If your staying in Argassi on a bit of a budget I'd recommend Papillion, fantastic pool and bar area.

We normally try stay in apartments on holidays but following the reviews we booked a two bedroom room here and we're so glad we did. For us the hotel is faultless. All the staff are really friendly, the pool area is immaculate and the rooms are fantastic. Ours was overlooking the pool and it was very modern and spotlessly clean. The aircon is great, there's a bit of a kitchen and plenty of open storage. The only thing to bear in mind is that there are no doors on the bedrooms, so just make sure you're comfortable with who you go with! There's a pool bar with a good selection of food and drinks.. The pool itself is massive and up to 12ft deep. It's just set back near the centre of Argassi within walking distance of every bar, cafe and restaurant. Zante town is about 50 mins walk away but be careful because someparts are without a footpath. If you're a walker take a trip up the monastery viewpoint, about 5 miles if you follow the track, well worth it. We would definitely stay here again, we'll done to all the staff and management!

We spent 10 amazing days at this hotel. The rooms are modern, clean and spacious. The bathrooms have plenty of room. We have a room overlooking the pool, the balcony was plenty for two people. There were plenty of sun loungers available, the pool was good. Shout out to all of amazing staff, everyone was super friendly. We had some great chats with the bar staff and reception staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The food at the pool was very good and on par price wise with the local restaurants. The drinks were also comparable with local bars. The breakfast was ok, typical continental breakfast which was tasty. The bar attached to the hotel was very good, we used that most nights. Again nothing was too much trouble. The beach was a 10 min walk away. Overall we had an amazing time. Would definitely go back

Great hotel, Lady on reception very friendly and helpful. Rooms spotlessly clean and modern daily cleaners are super friendly. Only downer is not a lot of place to hang and put your clothes away. Pool area is clean and can always get sunbed. Loved the pool great as sectioned in two a shallow side and side that get gradually deeper. Spent many days floating away super relaxing. Buffet breakfast has a great selection, cooked foods, cold cuts, fruit, cakes, pancakes, cereal, toast, bread, jams. Coffee, teas and juice. Great location very central. Bar area very nice and relaxing food looked great. Cocktails very nice

Firstly good review- very nice and clean rooms with fridge. Comfy but firm mattress, every room has a private balcony, clean pool area with pretty big pool itself… Average- no extras. No coffee or tea, only two tiny bars of soap. Very bad- be prepared to pay €3.50 for safe key and €10 for air conditioner. Yes, that’s is correct and I double checked with other guests, if you want a remote for air conditioner you have to pay 10 euro for such luxury.

Excellent hotel. Very helpful, friendly staff. Clean, modern rooms. Lovely pool area. Good breakfast. Very good location, central to the resort. Highly recommended. What more is there to say. Stupid requirement to ose a minimum of 200 characters.
