The view of the Sound was beautiful and calming. The cottage met our needs and the beds were very comfortable. Craig was very easy to deal with and arranged a delicious lobster for us. A fisherman was in the next cottage so we even got insight into the fishing industry.

I decided to celebrate the first day of school being retired and headed to the wonderful area of Argyle Sound. The location is extraordinary, is quiet, private and has amazing wildlife activity. The cottages are well appointed with everything one would need. The only problem I had was forgetting my cooler of food for my stay. It was the Labour Day weekend and much to my chagrin the two local restaurants were closed for the entire weekend and the following Tuesday. End of season they all needed a bit of a well deserved break. So I had to drive into Yarmouth for food. Perhaps a note on their site about limited eating in the area after the summer would be helpful. A path down tot eh water (boardwalk) would be a great addition. I look forward to going again (but maybe when more of the local things are open). I have recommended this place to all of my friends.

This cottage is in a superb location, and was a superb place to spend the night. The location was very remote but the owners were super helpful and explained where to load of with provisions (steak and beer) so we could use the barbeque provided.
