Caretta Paradise Resort & WaterPark

Overall a good week away with a 5 year old. The complex is great if you have children with the amount of pools and slides/splash parks on site. There is always sun beds available and this was during half term so no need to be up at the crack of dawn fighting for a bed. We had a swim up room with for us was great as it had a separate bedroom for us. The swim up pools wasn't used to its fullest. With a 5 year old it was a little too deep and the temp was colder then the main pools. The only time we had towels changed was when we left them on the floor, the other couple we travelled with did this one day and came back to the same towels still on the floor. We had bins emptied most days but to be honest I cant confirm how many times the beds were changed, this may have only been once. On to the food, the food was ok, very similar most days and nights not the best but not the worst we have had whilst away. I would recommend booking the Italian as we all really enjoyed the food for that night. The snack bar was great with gyros, pizza, hotdogs and chips. Had pre made salad and fruit boxes to have. We did eat out and the Red Apple down the road was amazing value and quality of food and drink. It had a small park for up to 5/6 year olds and had the live sport on. Kids club was located a little out the way but was clean. Our 5 year old lasted an hour before wanting to go back to the pools. I would say its aimed more for 4 and under. Generally a good fun stay, the inflatables that are paid for were great fun for the kids in the evening so it is worth budgeting for those. 3 shops in close walking distances which was a great help and the beach down the road was perfect. Only thing to note is the hill to get down to the beach is step and could be a problem if you have walking problems.

Just back from a week at carretta paradise and could have stayed another it's super for family's with kids and adults too , Our room was in block j over looking the pool and kids pool areas ,the room was great size with fridge and kettle ,Netflix on TV too was great ,room was cleaned 3 times and new towels etc offered every day if needed ,cleaners were so friendly too .have no complaints about any staff around the complex, the bar staff were always happy and friendly,the drinks were definitely not strong but u can ask for larger measures and put into your own larger thermal cups ,we brought our own plastic pint glasses which came in handy! We did purchase vodka from the supermarket to top up the drinks which was not an issue for us as the mixers / soft drinks were absolutely fine , food is edible, the snack bar was great for munching on during the day ,dinner had great salad selection, and always something to find to fill a hole ! We ate out on our last night at the red apple just a short walk away and the food was unreal !! Great value and lovely staff and a huge cocktail menu! Wish we had found it sooner !! 4 massive main courses ,carafe of red wine ,6 cocktails, 4 shots and a cider and a kids chip came to 120 euro ! Entertainment was typical kids disco etc and ended at 11 pm ,the fun park where u pay extra is right beside the entertainment, 10 euro for 5 hours on loads of bouncy castles ,which was well.worth it ! All in all a great week, yes the food wasn't amazing but it's what yo expect from.all.inc tbf ,the surrounding area is very quiet but a 10 euro taxi from reception takes u a 5 min drive into tsilivi which has ample choice of restaurants and shops ,I would definitely return Nd try to get about a bit more from the complex lots to see and do with tours etc , More Date of stay: May 2025

Magic stay. 11 days was class. Night time entertainment was magic. They go above and beyond for the kids and adults. Zizou and his troops was class. They got the crowd going and in involved everyone. I will come again no problem. Fire show was unreal. Kids loved it.

My honest review- 10day stay 12th-22nd of May Positive *pools are amazing..very clean pool side Never stuggled to get a bed *the drinks are not bad all local alcohol and non *the staff are very friendly Room - block O (me and my 2 boys) * large room *smart tv *good air con *close to slide area,across from burger restaurant and snack bar and entertainment area ..loud at night but that didn't bother us My sister was in block C and there was 4 of them in there room ..there room was smaller ..never had as much space or areas to get ready (i did i had two masive mirriors and 2 wardrobs they had one of each) .. never had cups and glasses (I did) and they didn't have a smart tv and we paid the same price *fun zone was good but not included in All inclusive Cheak in was fine fast ..used the app no probs Entertainment was ok if u have little kids who like discos then it's good ..mine weren't fussed ..liked the arcades more The shop at the front of the hotel is cheaper then the one at the fun zone but if the guys on he does give a discount 🙂 food - (I am in no way fussy or a food snob) Typical all inclusive - it wasn't very nice I did make an effort and try a variety ..ended up just making rolls on ham and salad then last few days ate out ... the biggest issue we had it was all luke warm or cold ..everytime - the hottest thing we had was chips once and thats cause we were there when they put them out and they just dumped them.on top.of cold chips that were already in the tray ..mostly pork like mince dishes and the burgers are pork...my 13year old ended up refusing to eat at the hotel and bought from shops early on in the holiday They only one we didny try was the Greek restaurant that u book The pizza one Bella gusto was nice but again was cold pizza and pasta What was good was the Gyros at the snack bar and the ice cream Also they do nice coffees from the machines and bars Also all deserts were very good It's a shame cause it's a nice hotel and the restaurants were very clean People are saying they never went hungry and a get what there saying but people pay alot of money to come here for it to.be mostly rotten and cold it's ment to be 4star had better at a 3star.. And a do feel bad writing this about the cleaning cause the maids are lovly and had good banter my youngest..but my whole stay they didn't clean my bathroom once ..one day they only emptied the bins and did nothing else .. I had to phone a few times for toilet roll and towels aswell Maybe there short staffed or pushed for time but a wasnt impressed with not cleaning the loo and not leaving paper and towels There is a beach across the road and down abit but we choose to go on the bus to the bigger one 4 maybe 5 stops along bus was 2 euro each and a taxi back was 18euro We went to zante town one day that was nice.. taxi back was 30euro he did take us to the wrong hotel first so no sure if we got charged for that (caretta beach) We manged to get a late ch

Lovely hotel, we visited with a 2 year and old and 6 month old. The entertainment was so good for the little ones! Definitely recommend. Zizou and the team were very accommodating for the little one, filling all his musical requests (cha cha slide)

Lovely hotel, great staff except for one, cleaning staff always working, place was spotless, waterpark very small, entertainment not very good, not much to do near hotel, food is awful, always cold and always same food every day saving grace is the gyros from snack bar.
