The welcome you get from Yannis is amazing. The room we got was certainly big enough for our family of 3. The pool area was clean and plenty of sun beds. It's certainly excellent value for money. There's a car park round the back and it's about a 10 minute walk into town. We will definitely stay here again as it was everything we wanted as a family.

Very friendly welcome from Trudy. Yannis and family really take care of guests and they make you feel special. Food from bar lovely and also family enjoyed cocktails. Rooms comfortable, quiet and cleaned every other day. Will definitely recommend for the price we paid.

This place would be great if it was updated. Great location about a 10 minute walk into town. The rooms are very basic Greek type rooms. Need a very good clean and new mattress and pillows as they was very hard and stained and the sheets didn't really fit the beds and was very used. Bathroom needs to be cleaned better as it was bad in places. Yannie is amazing he cannot do enough for you he basically runs that place alone. As previous review the arguing in front of guests needs to stop as it is loud and nasty. Pool area is good, never struggled to get a sun bed and some do need to be replaced. The food at the bar is nice and reasonable priced drinks. Bar closes at 2am music finishes at midnight but it continues to be loud. Get plenty of mozzi spray for your self and the room as it was really bad for bugs and bites. Supermarkets round the corner sells plenty. Get 1 electric hob and kettle and basic cutlery 2 plates 2 cups 2 glasses. NO bottle opener, tin opener etc.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Said 2 star but didn't warrant a 1. The hotel was filthy with no sign on being dusted or mopped and the toilet was beyond disgusting. The taps were green and mould was everywhere. The noise from the bar area went on untill the early hours and the music got louder as the night went on. The sunbeds were so old that the metal bars protruded. 1 day no water then next only cold water, 3rd day no water again then last morning no water or electricity. This hotel needs a major overhaul before anyone should stay. The owner seemed friendly at first but if you didn't eat or drink in his bar and participate in the night entertainment then his manner changed.

Well yet again this hotel just gives more and more .Such a warm welcome not only from owners but guests as well . New member of staff Trudi a real star , good asset to the hotel. Nothing to much trouble here , you want it they can help with it .Honestly don't go by bad negative reviews as I said before this hotel is a 2 star family run hotel , not a swanky 4 star commercialy run place . Good old basic clean family orientated friendly hotel .Keep up the good work .

Stayed at Sandy Maria for the first time and all I can say is it was fantastic!!!! I’ve booked to go again end of august, it’s clean, absolute value for money and Yani Sandy & Trudi are sooo friendly, I travelled alone and they made me feel so welcome, it’s situated literally 10 min walk from town & beach. My new favourite place xxx
