The hotel is very dirty and run down. When I closed the curtains I was astonished at how stained and dirty they were. The bedspread was very dirty and the bed sheets were very old. Also, I was bit by something in the bed. Have no idea what it was. The hotel should not advertise that they offer breakfast, it was a joke, just biscuits and gravy, bread and cereal was out. It's shocking how expensive it was to stay at this hotel. I do not recommend.

We were looking for a safe and clean place to stay while attending music festival nearby. Felt very safe there -- and a very pleasant and helpful staff. though understaffed. Room was not as clean as it could be.

It smelled musty and of smoke, the rug was damp to walk on, the shower was dirty with mold on the shower curtain and rusty faucets that leaked. The chain lock on the door was broken, there was only a half roll of toilet paper, the TV didn’t work there was coffee left in the coffee pot from the previous guest, holes in the wall and no covers on the electric outlets. I have photos of all of these if needed. I asked if I could change rooms and was told there were no other rooms available.

We had made reservations. Got to the hotel and at first glance the stairway appeared not to have been vacuumed in a long time. We went up separate stairway to our room. It was as dirty as the first, not just dust but like it had not been vacuumed in a long time. We should have turned back but we went on into the room. The smell of pot or something nasty was our first turn off and then there were no pillow cases on one of the beds and we were afraid to investigate further. This all took 5 minutes. The manager said they would not refund any money but offered us another room or a stay there another time. We were certainly not interested in coming back. We left.

This place has some shady practices, is outdated, and one of the employees is extremely rude. There are some really adorable kids who utilize the place as a playground which made me feel a tad safer staying there

Over priced rude staff and wouldn’t reimburse. I reserved for a suite and didn’t get it. My key card had to be reset twice and the elevator didn’t work. so after getting there with all my luggage, blocking it up two flights of stairs, had to turn around and walk down two flights of stairs with all my luggage because my key didn’t work

Amazing staff, dog friendly, offered extended stays. Decent prices, clean rooms, good breakfast. Decent size rooms, clean, everything is clean. While staying we had a queen size double room we asked to switch to a king staff had no issues accommodating to our liking.

AVOID THIS HOTEL. Desk clerk charged me $250 for a 12 year old tv that had burnt out in one corner long before my stay. When I went to call the disgruntled gentleman who checked me in late night for my reservation answered the phone was very rude that I did the damage and even if I didn’t anything not working should be reported at checkout or you are liable. Refused to email or send me me any paperwork or invoices for it and that he was supposedly the owner and this decision was final. Please stay away you will see below there reviews of fraudulent charges, broken amenities, outdated and tan down rooms and there’s several other MENTIONING THEY HAD BROKE TV’s AS WELL.

Booked a King Room, we arrived after 11pm and were asked if we had to have a room on the top floor and if we did we would have to wait for it to be cleaned, lower level was fine but our room was two double beds-whatever, we would deal with it. The TV didn’t work. Breakfast the morning was fine but the area wasn’t very clean; we only had one towel in our room and when I ask for a second for my husband, I was told no one did laundry last night!!! As my husband was drying off with our one wet towel another guest walked into our room! They had a key to our room!!! They apologized and left but a minute later our door was opened again. This time it was staff-they said “I thought you checked out already” and walked back out. How does that happen???

The room was just fine, but they were very under-staffed. The breakfast was poor, the ice machine broke, and wifi was out for a while. The location was fine which was good as there are few choices in Ark City.

My short stay trip turned out to be great and Super 8 did an excellent job. Staff was great and so helpful. They make sure my room was clean and I had everything I needed why I was there. Those ladies who work there did an awesome job and work hard to make sure that all the people that come to stay are comfortable and satisfied with everything

The room was great, the stay was great,s it was good to have an ironing board in there and an iron.i was able to clean up and refresh myself.it was nice to be able to relax and enjoy myself.the bed was great.

1. We made reservation which was confirmed for suite but when we arrived we were told the room was not available. 2. The room we were given had an oversize chair footrest instead of a chair to sit on. 3. When we came back that night and we requested an extra pillow which we did get because we were told were no extra pillows for us to use. 4. There was no hot water from the sink, only warm water which trickled out of the faucet. Our original reservations were for 3 nights but we checked out the next morning.

We stayed at the Super 8 in Arkansas City for 4 nights. On our last morning , my wife found a bedbug on her pillow. We took the pillow with the bedbug down to the front desk to show it to the desk clerk. We spent several weeks after our stay trying to get the hotel manager to provide compensation for the issue. She mostly avoided us and finally after contacting Wyndham Customer Care, the hotel manager offered a 20% discount on 1 nights charge...so after paying $345 for our stay, we were offered $17 refund! In addition to the bedbug issue we had other issues with the room. The door wouldn't lock when closing it without having to slam the door extremely hard; WiFi went out every evening; street noise was quite bad during the nighttime (it sounded like our room was on the highway).
