Amply suitable for an over night stay, we stayed on our way to Angouleme for the Circuit des Remparts, the room was on the small side, but had everything we needed, we ate in the restaurant & the food was very tasty, as was the breakfast, we had a stroll round the nearby lake which was very nice. There is plenty of parking, and there was plenty of work being carried out for improvements, all in all a good nights stay.

What a difference an owner makes, these hotels are a franchise. Tricky to find even with a good sat-nav, road signs are generally obscured by lorries on the approach. Although on an industrial estate a large pleasant lake is immediately adjacent for walks and sitting out. This hotel was in good condition, plenty of secure parking. Bedroom of medium size but adequately equipped. Bathroom small but adequate, needed some maintenance. The breakfast was excellent.

Enjoyable stay - rooms have been refurbished and are of a good standard - nice new showers. Website a little misleading as food 7 days a week but reality is that restaurant is not open on Sunday in low season - you can find the actual opening hours on the website but you have to look. Nice setting with a lake nearby

On our outward journey to Belgium, as usual, we made our stopover in Arnage. We have already spent several times the night in this hotel and are very satisfied. The rooms are not large, but clean, good beds, private parking and a good restaurant in the hotel, so you don't have to eat outside for dinner. Also a very nice, helpful and sympathetic staff. In any case, we will go back there.

As we had the intention to visit the museum from the "24H00 of Le Mans" we took the option to stay overnight for two nights in this hotel, because the location is at only a few minutes drive from the Museum. The hotel staff is super friendly, clean rooms, private carpark, and on top a restaurant, so you have not to leave the hotel in the evening to try to find s restaurant. We have enjouyed the reststaurant twice, and we can say that the food is realy from a good quality, congrats for this. Whe we go back to Brittany, this hotel is surely an option for us.

On our trip we chose again for the Campanille hotel in Arnage, because we had already stayed there, because it has a private parking and a restaurant, so that you no longer have to leave the hotel on arrival if you wish something to eat. Unfortunately, we arrived on Sunday in the late afternoon, and did not realize that on Sunday the restaurant was closed! But luckily on our arrival we were welcomed at the reception by Mrs. Celine, very friendly, and when we asked if we could eat something, we were told that the restaurant was closed, but that it was no problem at all to prepare a simple dish which we could take to the room. After about 20 minutes we were able to collect our prepared dishes at the reception, and take them to our room, it was very taste full! So we would like to express a special thank you to Mrs. Celine, this is certainly a more value for the hotel, this is something we have never experienced on our travels, thank you very much Mrs. for your efforts, we will definitely be back.

We stayed here for 2 nights recently when visiting the Le Mans 24 Hr museum. We had a room on the 2nd floor overlooking the lake which was nice. The room itself was super, and much nicer than I expected. It was very clean, had air con and a large comfortable bed. The bathroom was good too with a great shower and toiletries provided. We had paid for a half board option which included breakfast and a 3 course evening meal with a drink included. This proved to be excellent value, and was very convenient as didn’t have to drive anywhere to have a meal. The unlimited breakfast buffet was excellent with a good choice of cereals, omelettes, cold meats & cheeses, fresh fruit, yogurts as well as a wide selection of breads and pastries…as well as juices and hot drinks. The evening meal had a buffet for starters and desserts, and a choice of 4 main courses. All the food we had was lovely. The staff were all very friendly and couldn’t do enough to help you. I would definitely recommend staying here!

When you book a Campanille you know what you're going to get. We needed somewhere to break the journey and this worked. The staff were lovely and the food was excellent for this type of hotel. Bedroom was looking a bit tired and the bathroom did have a strange fusty smell. Decent value for money and the house red was very good.
