Let’s start with the positives: the hotel is very well located, right in the center, and both the hotel itself and the rooms are beautifully styled and decorated. However, there were several issues that affected our overall experience. There is only one elevator in the entire hotel, which is used by both guests and staff, leading to long wait times. The staff often seemed overwhelmed, and a question we sent by email before our stay went unanswered—despite receiving 17 automated emails related to the booking. The spa area has potential and is nicely designed, but unfortunately it was not clean during our visit. In the room, some of the lights didn’t work and there was no proper space to store or open our suitcase. The few parking spots supposedly available for guests (for a fee) appeared to be occupied by staff instead. The hotel café closed 45 minutes earlier than advertised due to a private event, and when returning late from a concert, we had to go through a complicated phone system just to get the door opened. Lastly, the price—especially with the significant surcharge for the concert day—did not reflect the overall quality or match the glowing reviews and star rating the hotel claims. Overall, while the location and design are definite highlights, the service, cleanliness, and guest experience need improvement to justify the price and rating.
