This cozy cabin evokes vintage charm and is equipped with modern amenities-made for a fun family vacation, a gathering with friends or a group retreat. There is a game room with a pool table, tranquil forest views, and a private grill, this home has everything you need for a snowy day indoors or can offer the perfect home base to warm up after a long day of outdoor activities. What's nearby: Go wine tasting in Murphys or skiing at Bear Valley Ski Resort. Big Trees State Park is a wonderful location to bring the whole family for hiking and great photo opportunities with some of California's largest trees. Go for a hike to the White Pine lake, then enjoy hot chocolate (in the wintertime) or ice cream (during the summer time) served at the Warming Hut during business hours. Big Trees Market is also nearby and is fully stocked. Visit the towns of Columbia State Park, where you can take a stagecoach ride or explore the nearby Moaning Caverns. Perfect family getaway We rented this cabin on July 1 -3. There were 11 of us in our family. We enjoyed our stay here. The cabin is well stocked, especially the kitchen. We brought a rice cooker, but there was already one there. They also have Insta pot. Cabin is updated, loved the floors, master’s bathroom and the large tub. Plenty of supplies- shampoo, conditioners, tp’s. Host was very responsive. We will definitely rent this place again. Thank you.

Beautiful Area The property is beautiful especially the kitchen and master bath. There were a couple of issues that the owner was not aware of but he worked with us and was appreciative we had told him. The outside is gorgeous and the deck needs a little maintenance which I believe the owner will take care of. The grand room and openess of the house is very enjoyable. We hope to return

Missing many basic items found in VRBO rentals There were no hand towels or washcloths in any of the 3 bathrooms or linen closets. The master bedroom bed is just 10 inches tall this should be in the listing. It is difficult to get out of and use while getting dressed. The kitchen is missing many basic items such as, a vegetable peeler, cheese grater, a working wine opener, a cookie sheet, regular size tong, a grill brush for the grill, and measuring spoons. These are just the items that I needed while making meals for my family and would expect . The kitchen/ dining room tablecloth had many stains which made it feel dirty. Upon our arrival the carbon monoxide alarm was going off which was because the battery was dead. The alarm needs a working battery and to be plugged in. There should be a back-up 9 volt battery so that there is still a working monitor in the cabin for safety.The barstools are so rickety if anyone actually sat on them they would suffer an injury. The grill handle is loose but there is not a screwdriver anywhere. I also appreciate a binder that gives you information about how to open and close the rental, how items work ? Just basic info , there is not one. All of these items are very basic items found in most homes and certainly in a VRBO listing that states “ Full Kitchen “ and Linen and Towels included. We did find the hand towels, wash clothes, and kitchen towels two days later in the dryer.

Great getaway! This property was great. It’s much larger than it looks from the outside. The floor plan is excellent for multi generation groups. The location is very convenient, Close to the market and far enough from the highway to be quiet but still close enough for easy access. The owner is very quick to respond to any questions! Overall an excellent choice.

Fun getaway, great location Owner of Property was very easy to work with. Very responsive to messages prior and during the stay. Only downside (and only cause we have kids) no TV down stairs. Overall the cabin is nice and open. Close to activities and store.
