Rarotonga Daydreamer Escape

We have just returned from 13 fabulous nights at the Daydreamer. Anna and Rob are amazing hosts, full of local knowledge. The gardens and pool area where kept extremely tidy and being looked after daily. We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit across from the Fantastic BBQ / pizza oven area and pool. The units where kept clean and tidy and serviced regular. I would strongly recommend The Daydreamer, we traveled with my eight year old and my mum who both throughly enjoyed the accommodation. And we can not forget their dog Lulu, such a happy dog that was always happy to see you. Thank you Anna and Rob for an amazing holiday

WOW. Love this piece of paradise. Would stay again if i can get back to raro. The kids lived in the pool. Felt like we were at home. Anna and rob are very helpful with anything. Miss the place so much. Didnt want to leave. So relaxing and beautiful gardens. I am going to recommend to everybody. I would never want to stay in a resort after staying in this beautiful place. Thanks anna and rob for having our big, noisey family.

Great hosts go out of their way to assist, give advice and make your stay as pleasurable as possible. Accommodation is very well furnished with all self-catering needs provided for, with comfortable beds and beautifully maintained pool, garden and BBQ areas. Close to very nice restaurant, beach, Car Rental, Supermarket and walk to Waterfall. Bus stop on roadside. Look forward to future stays.

Amazing! Have travelled quite a few times to Raro and around the world and the hosts, Anna & Rob are probably the nicest hosts we have ever had! The place is awesome, very quiet, relaxing, facilities are amazing and the pool is perfect to sit by and swim all day if you want to relax for the day.. We had an accident while we there and Rob dropped us to the hospital and checked in with us and made sure we had everything we needed.. Just the friendliest people full of knowledge and nothing was too hard for them to do for us.. We will be back 100%! Also, for value for money as raro is getting expensive for accommodation, this is No.1! Thank you guys and see you next year! :)

Staying at day dreamers escape was a literal dream! We were originally staying somewhere else but changed our booking when re looking at accomodation out of curiosity and saw this slice of paradise. Well we were so blessed we did, Rob and Anna were amazing when a few days out from our trip we got covid which meant we had to move everything, they were so accommodating and did it with zero complaints! Anna also helped my partner organise a lovely bunch of flowers and care package to surprise me on arrival, and the communication was quick and easy. Rob was so helpful in giving us recommendations for restaurants and activties around the island, we went to literally every place he suggested, (except 1 where we couldn't get a booking) and they were all superb! On top of all of this, my partner proposed while we were in Raro, and Rob & Anna couldn't have been any happier for us, and even bought us a bottle of bubbly to celebrate! How thoughtful!! There are so many things I could go on about... •The lovely breakfast supplied on the first day (home made bread even!) •The easy airport transfers on arrival and departure for only $20 each way, with Rob even letting us stop at dairys/rental places •LULU!! The cutest doggo ever, this was a huge highlight for us as we are massive animal people and were missing our dog while in Raro, daily visits from Lulu helped ease this •Papa & Mata - the caretakers, such lovely helpful people! •It was also lovely to see how Rob & Anna today their employees, like they are their family. It just goes to show what kind of people they are •The room we had was perfect, had everything we needed with a comfy bed •A cellphone with $5 credit was given to us for our stay, what a saver this was! We used this daily when booking our dinners etc •The pool was perfect, with a lovely outdoors area that we used daily, laying by the pool having a beverage! •Because the accomodation is quite intimate as opposed to a resort, we made lovely friends and chatted to them daily too I can not recommend this place enough, and if we are to visit Raro again, I would stay here again in a heartbeat & I tell everyone to do the same! It has taken us a while to do this review as we stayed 22nd May to 31st May, but it has to be done, a place like this needs to be recognized for what it is! This is absolutely a little piece of Paradise from the moment you arrive. Anna and Rob are fabulous hosts and have lots of helpful hints so you get the best from your stay. The units are comfortable and have everything you need. Beautiful gardens and bbq/pool area. We enjoyed a mix of self catering and eating out around the island. The size of the complex means never too busy but great holiday vibe. I also appreciate Anna and Rob's commitment to sustainability. Can't wait to return
