Resort Lagoa Azul recensioner

This was our first time in Arpora and will not be our last. The hotel was recommend by a friend and it did not disappoint. There are two parts to this hotel and both have a pool. We were happy with the service at breakfast and Guru made sure we had everything we needed. It was very relaxing and near to a few bars and restaurants. We did eat at the hotel a few times and the food was good and tasty. The manager Umesh was most helpful when i had a fall and had to be taken to hospital. The staff were all concerned when i got back to the hotel. The rooms are cleaned every day and towels and sheets changed regularly. We used the shuttle to Baga beach regularly and the driver was appreciative of our R100 tip. We will definitely choose this hotel again.

Stayed here January for two weeks excellent rooms cleaned daily large fridge and good air con. Breakfast was good cereal toast eggs tea coffee juice and fresh fruit staff were all excellent restaurant good menu reasonable prices choice of two pools with sunbeds taxi service outside hotel although 5 bars close by would stay again

We’ve been numerous times, the last trip, before this one, being 10 years ago. The hotel is as peaceful & welcoming as it’s always been. The rooms, while tired & in need of updating, were serviced daily. Clean towels & sheets every time. The bed was very firm & uncomfortable, we spoke to reception who immediately had another mattress sent over. Nothing is ever too much trouble. The pool lads are ace, ladies sweeping the leaves are friendly & always have a smile. Without exception the receptionists are great. Food in the restaurant is excellent, staff always wanting to help. Tbh, the only bad thing I can say is about an event on our last night. We ate at the restaurant, when the bill arrived it was 2,100 rupees more than it should have been. Before we even explained the problem, a flustered waiter was saying it was a mistake & he would sort it out. I so hope it was a genuine mistake, but I’m not sure it was. Overall the hotel is delightful & we’ll be returning.

We stayed here from mid December to mid January 28 nights and we travelled with TUI. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we loved every minute of our holiday! They couldn’t do enough for us. The food in the restaurant was beautiful and tasty!! The pools are spotless, there’s always a sunbed and the pool boy is always there offering clean towels. There was only one problem we had and that is the young *** who drove the shuttle bus/ car kept asking for a tip.we didn’t like that!! We have already booked for this December and look forward to going back

The resort is in a quiet location but near all the restaurants bars etc. Firstly, the building itself is very dated. The remedial work carried out IE painting is off very poor quality and there are paint spills everywhere, handrails floors etc. this gives the place a shabby look. Secondly, The rooms are run down and are in desperate need of refurbishment. Thirdly. The pool area has grass growing between the pavias, this again looks shabby. Despite the above the rooms and public areas are very clean. However, the staff are wonderful and are a pleasure to interact with, the restaurant staff in particular, offering a reasonable choice for breakfast . I am not sure that I would return to this hotel but I would return to the area.

Very satisfying experience.The property was also very beautiful and worth a staycation! Location is very peaceful. Away from the crowd. They provided early check-in without any extra charge very friendly staff who are always ready to help.. We hope to revisit in the future, possibly for a longer stay..!!

Our first visit to Goa we stayed here for 9 nights 10 days , what can I say hotel staff amazing can not do enough for you , onsite restaurant served lovely food , breakfast , Lunch and dinner plus snacks . Rooms, we stayed in a suite as we had our disabled son with us , it had patio doors ( locked with 1 bolt quite flimsy}opening out on to a terrace overlocking the pool , the room was very spacious . Overall the room was in need of refurbishment but spotlessly clean , we loved the fact that is was cleaned every day and clean sheets every day and very good air con in both the bedroom and lounge area . Pool was clean and we had it to ourselves for nearly all of our stay , Sun loungers all 4 of them in very poor condition as were the brollies these do need replacing asap , there are 2 pools one behind the restaurant we did not use this one , but it was again very clean and sun beds same condition and need replacing, there is also a children's play area that also needs attention . Electrics in the room questionable some kept sparking . Communal areas are very well kept and clean the pots and plants around look beautiful . 24 hour security on the gate so didn't worry to much about the patio doors, lovely guys . Free transport to Baga beach and back from the hotel . Overall we had a brilliant stay and would not hesitate to return , would love to see the sun beds replaced as they did not look very welcoming and broken so was sure how safe they would be .

They are number one fraud business people. You not even get respect. See even for this review reply they will show you how they respect people first than customers. I have booked a studio apartment, they have two diferent booking open in the website. one with their real name lagoa resort and another one just saying luxury studio at Baga. The price posted cheap for the second one hence I booked, after booking I received all instruction. On the day before of my day of booking I got call from an unprofessional and under educated person from their property and told me I have to pay extra rs. 500 as cleaning charges, I told them I booked for one night and explained that your instruction that you send clearly says its options if I need I can request . The fraud on the call didn't accepted. And asked me that did I looking for free stay. This the manners they do have. I told him do you want your salary in a signal payment to shut his mouth. Uneducated mannerless people looting people's money in different way. We need respect not your luxury. I request people should avoid this property and show them respect is more important than money or so called luxury. If you listing a price and you should accept that after booking, not like these cheating people and earn money. Money sucking insects. There are lot of ways to earn money not like this cheap way. Frauds, do service, money will come automatically.

Excellent service of Resort Rio staff. Food is delicious and good service of staff . Room is large and very comfortable. Room cleaning staff are very helpful Pradnya, sanaya and khairul. Swimming pool party we enjoyed. We had good comfortable stay and highly recommend.

Just returned from a 10wk holiday from the lagoa been there before but this yr was the best ever lovely clean rooms great food and prices the staff some of the best i have ever had the pleasure to know polite very friendly and the manager umesh over a couple of yrs has turned the lagoa into one of the best hotels in north goa.so today booked our 12wk holiday for next yr.

Have just returned from the most wonderful 14 night break. The staff are all fantastic with a special mention to Basanta, Kartik and Bunty but all staff couldn’t do enough for you and we’re always smiling. I celebrated my 40th and staff went out of their way to make it one of the most special days I’ve had. All other guests and residents are friendly and it gives the hotel a lovely feel. Hotel grounds are clean and well looked after. I used the gym and it’s adequate to meet holiday needs. Pool is ample size and you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere as it’s so relaxing. However, plenty of bars and restaurants near by. Rooms are big with plenty of space and are spotless. Cleaning never took long but the room was always immaculate and the towel animals on the bed always made me smile. We can’t wait to return

This is a very clean, nice hotel well run by all the staff who are a credit to the manager Umesh. Everybody from cleaning staff, gardeners, restaurant staff and reception staff ***** with security and management are all very cheerful and helpful in every way. It's hardly fair to pick out any individual, but Maya on reception was such a lovely, helpful girl, helping us with restaurant reservations at various places and being such a fun person. Just a shame l couldn't convert her to be a Manchester United fan. This was our 2nd stay at this hotel and our third visit to the wonderful North Goa. Hopefully, it's not our last.

Have just came back from this lovely well run hotel Lago azul the rooms as were bedding and towels very clean Nothing was to much trouble for all the staff to make our stay enjoyable Always a smile from reception staff. A good restaurant very well run and good food .Thank you to,the hotel manager Umesh . for running a good hotel we had a lovey holiday there and look forward to returning soon Reguards Mr & Mrs W Richardson

We have just returned from a wonderful three week holiday.This was our second time to this hotel and have already booked for next year Umesh and his team are a credit to this hotel … miya the hotel receptionist always smiling and chatting ,Kar tik such a hard working barman / waiter. We celebrated my husband’s birthday and I can’t thank the staff enough for all the hard work on making it a day to remember you all went above and beyond We are looking forward to seeing you all again next year xx
