We stayed for one night. The lodge is beautiful with a nice garden. However the road to the lodge is quite difficult to reach if it raining or has rained. If you managed the off triad it is very close to the airport. Service and staff are very friendly. Dinner and breakfast is very good.

The hotel staff were amazing all are very friendly and sweet ! Special thank you to Aneth and Joseph who took care of us and prepared a cute surprise ! Beautiful cake for the honeymooners with celebrations and chanting we loved it!!

The staff of Olerai deserve so much praise for their hard work and effort to make your stay feel personal and comfortable. Special thanks to "uncle" Pete who stole our hearts with his warm smile and repeatedly made a special strawberry mocktail for our 7-year old. Chef Munir not only caters to your every need gastronomically, but welcomes you with his passion for food and hospitality and will go out of his way to make your stay more special. Thanks for the kind birthday wishes, "Jambo bwana" song (and dance!) and small cake for my brother in laws birthday. Also, very good vegetarian options available for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

We spent one night here on our way back to Kenya, but it was great. The room was very spacious. The food was the BEST of any place we stayed our entire two weeks. Peter was so accommodating and friendly (plus taught us some more Swahili!) and Mihir was a FANTASTIC cook - the best food we had of all stays!

An incredible place to start our safari in Tanzania. The hospitality was impeccable, service discrete yet attentive. The bedroom was truly luxurious, the food was delicious. We wish we could have stayed for longer.

Wow Wow Wow! We were lucky enough to begin our safari adventure with two nights here after our flight from the UK. It exceeded expectations on every level! The rooms were spacious and incredibly spacious, tasteful and luxurious. The swimming pool loved by the kids and the fire pit a lovely touch and the food was really delicious with a lovely friendly and super talented chef! The staff were really the highlight here, Hosanna and her team looked after us from start to finish with such warmth and were so welcoming and friendly. The waiters so smiley and friendly too. t was my birthday and they were so kind to surprise me with a cake and dance/song and a really thoughtful gift. It was all hugely appreciated and definitely our favourite stay in Tanzania :). Thank you to everyone at Oberai Lodge for making our stay truely special and one to remember and cherish in Tanzania! We will be back!

This lodge was the last one of our family safari trip in north Tanzania ! We spent one night in a family room and this was just great . From being welcomed with the jambo song , room big clean and super pretty ( modern African style which I love ) . The food was the highlight , the dinner was awesome . A starter and soup buffet ( the best butternut soup I had in life :) , amazing main dish . I almost forgot to talk about the garden … jungle coffee plantation style … wowwww . We left under the rain … sad to leave . The only little negative was the way to get there which is pretty rough z but it was the same in other great lodges were we were
