TRAVELODGE ARUNDEL FONTWELL PARK

This travelodge is one of the hotels, in the area that I stay in, when attending Fontwell Races. I have enjoyed staying here on a few occasions, in the past, due to it's excellent raceday location. This though was different, as for the first time my room was on the busy A29 side , as opposed to the carpark/racecourse side. Check-in was easy,quick and welcoming,the three staff I encountered during my short stay were all friendly. Following a day at the races and food/drink in The Old Stables, next door, I retired to my room. Standard room for this chain, though it was a little tired, clean enough, decent shower and a nice comfy bed. Unfortunately I didn't get a good night's sleep due to traffic noise and headlights, shining through the curtains, no matter how many times I got out of bed to adjust them. I personally think that the windows need a upgrade and sound proofing. As I was only staying the one night, I left early for my journey back to the West Country.

Visiting family over the weekend and this hotel was so convenient for me and was Great value for money even at the weekend! The staff were nice and helpful. Hotel was very clean lovely coffee and extra at reception when needed. Will be back again soon!

Visited Fontwell Park for a racing the hotel was just situated right in my vicinity which I couldn't have been pleased more , there is also a restaurant at the hotel which got great food and we had links to Chichester and Arundel Castle just outside our hotel so we didn't need to drive. Staff at the hotel were amazing, very professional. I enjoyed my stay fully and would definitely recommend and come next race day

I had a good experience the rooms where clean and the staff Charity was very welcoming and helpful I will definitely stay again. There is also plenty of parking which free fro the guest this makes it easy for you if you are driving. It's also easily accessible.

Room was clean and comfortable, staff friendly. Book breakfast before you go, we were refused breakfast in nearby bar/restaurant at 9.30 we were told kitchen was closed.

Great stay at Fontwell Park. We stayed here to attend a wedding locally. Staff are very professional and friendly. Room was clean and fresh, plenty of tea and coffee at reception. Unfortunately the breakfast to go was not what we expected, the receptionist recommended a nearby cafe in Slindon which was convinient for us. Hotel is located on the road side off A27/29. Suitable for shopping in Chichester as there is bus every 20mins right outside the hotel. Old Stables pub next door was an added bonus. It worked for us.
