Hotell Laponia

度假區酒店，房間住着舒服，早餐還可以

The hotel looks good from the outside, but we never got the chance to test it because the person in the reception was not very flexible or service minded. We travelled with a small dog (Chiahuahua), and even though they had vacant rooms, we weren`t allowed to hire one with the dog, even though we promised to keep him in his cage. On other hotels we always get the chance to hire a room even if its not a dog room, if we pay a little extra for a deeper cleaning job after the stay. Very disappointing Laponia :-(

Our first impression of this hotel was not great, when we checked in there were a lot of intoxicated people in the hallways and on the balconies of various rooms. However, our room was very nice and practical (a family room with a small kitchenette and balcony, tea and coffee, fridge, dishes) and the reception staff was very friendly. Later in the evening things had calmed down and were quiet. The hotel is a little older but was designed well with lots of different areas for gathering, which is good for families. We did not use the pool as the smell of chlorine was very strong and the cleaning seemed a little questionable in that area. The dinner restaurant across the street, Laponiakåtan, did not appeal at all (limited menu, price and atmosphere, tons of mosquitos outside). Luckily there is an ICA within a short walk so we could eat in our room. The breakfast buffet was horrible, most things were out and not replaced (45 minutes before it was due to end), very strange, inedible scrambled eggs, tables full of dirty dishes, no milk for coffee, spilled food everywhere. They are obviously very understaffed. We would stay here again, but would plan to eat dinner in our room and know to expect a very basic, small breakfast.

Nice hotel in general. Nice welcome from the French receptionist, very nice pool, sauna and relax area, good complete breakfast. But sleeping has been a bit of a stuggle. The room was much too warm, even with the window open by 5 degrees outside. Got woken up by the sunlight at 5:00am because the curtains are not enough to keep the room dark. A shame in the country of the midnight sun... When telling that to the receptionist while checking out, we got a grin and "well yes, it's starts to be summer". Yes, we get that, we live an hour away from Arvidsjaur. But if we manage to get our own bedroom dark, a hotel should be able to do that as well. Poor sens of service to answer that way, make us feel like we are 2 guests in a million (of course it's the case, but don't make your guests feel that way!). Unfortunately, there was also renovation just below our room and we got to hear the building noises from 7:00. Got apology for that.

Samstag/Sonntag/: Hotel veranstaltet eine lärmige Party im eigenen Innenhof bis am morgen um halb vier. An Schlafen ist auch bei geschlossenen Fenster nicht zu denken. Der Foodtruck steht direkt vor dem Zimmer. Auf meine Bemerkung diesbezüglich am Morgen wird nicht reagiert.

Hôtel avec énormément de charme. L’accueil est superbe avec plein de coins cosy pour se poser et profiter. Chambre spacieuse et tellement chaleureuses. Adaptée pour une famille de quatre avec de grands enfants de 13 et 16 ans. Salle de sport bien équipée et grande piscine. Il y a également une salle de jeu avec ping-pong et jeux. Le petit déjeuner est délicieux et varié. Sans doute le meilleur saumon cru dixit Alex 😜 Parking à proximité et gratuit. Restaurant de l’hôtel sur réservation très sympa également.

Un hôtel tout à fait convenable, avec un bon accueil, une chambre suffisamment spacieuse pour y étaler un peu nos affaires, un restaurant en face de la route, ou l'on mange tout à fait correctement, qui demander de plus, après 500 bornes de moto dans des conditions météo tendues?... Le Laponia a fait le job, nous permettant de bien récupérer, au calme, sauf quand les moustiques se mêlent de la partie... Parking moto gratuit, bon petit déjeuner, et hop!!! nous voilà repartis pour...500 nouvelles bornes!

Super séjour, le staff est au petits soins, souriant, la piscine et la salle de sport sont en parfait état, très bien entretenus, la propreté de l’hôtel est irréprochable. Le restaurant de l’hôtel est excellent, copieux et local. Par moins 35 degré à l’extérieur, l’hôtel est bien chauffé. Vraiment très bien.

Die direkte Internetbuchung war bemerkenswert, bekam ich doch, trotz Vorauskasse keine schriftliche Bestätigung, sondern musste diesbezüglich telefonisch nachhaken. Kannte ich bisher nicht, aber OK. Bei der Ankunft aber ging alles problemlos. Freundlicher Empfang, tolles, allerdings spärlich möbliertes Apartment mit separatem Schlafzimmer, schönes gut ausgestattet Bad mit viel Ablagemöglichkeit und eigener Sauna. Dennoch, längere Wege bleiben einem hier kaum erspart, denn einerseits kann das Zimmer ziemlich weit vom Empfang entfernt sein und zum anderen befindet sich das hauseigene, im Stil einer Kate, errichtete Restaurant nicht unterm gleichen Dach, sondern ist auf der gegenüber liegenden Straßenseite. Dafür entschädigt es aber nicht nur mit herrlicher Aussicht, sondern auch mit einer gut sortierten Menükarte, freundlichem Service und bester Speisenqualität. Das gut sortierte Frühstücksbuffet wurde im Haupthaus serviert, hatte jedoch kleinere Engpässe beim Geschirr. Bei starker Belegung sind zudem die unteren Plätze an den Fenstern sehr schnell belegt, so dass nur die Tische im Bereich des Buffets bleiben, die jedoch sehr schwach beleuchtet sind. Es empfiehlt sich also die Hauptfrühstückszeit zu meiden. Alles in allem aber ist das Laponia ein angenehmes Hotel und wir kommen gerne wieder.
