Stazzo Lu Ciaccaru

We made this our base for exploring northeastern Sardinia. We were a family of 5 (2 parents and 3 adult children in their 20's). The grounds are very beautiful. We had reserved one of the villas. Due electrical damage from a storm (not the fault of the hotel), we could not all stay in the villa. However, the hotel more than made up for the issue by giving us a beautiful suite with a private outdoor pool in the main hotel for some of us to stay in. It worked out perfectly for us. The staff at the resort are fantastically helpful. They gave us great beach recommendations and offered any help we could need. Breakfast was also very good and served in their beautiful dining area. The only negative item is the dinner at La Ciminea. It is over-priced and not very good, but that did not effect our stay at the resort.

A fabulous hotel with stunning views. The pool was so natural with added joy of the most delicious cocktails! The room was so comfortable and clean. The main thing we felt that the staff were entirely professional but so so kind, helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble and a lovely sense of humour. They were faultless. Thank you We would love to return

This stunning property is located on the countryside not far from the main tourist attractions (beaches and archeological sites). The nature is very pretty and the hotel is very well maintained overall. We had initially booked a room for 2 nights but decided to add an extra night. The rooms are spacious and comfortable but could use some updates. A good stylist would be able to add little design touches here and there while maintaining the spirit of the place. It didn’t bother us though. The pool is beautiful although not heated (temperature was ok though as we were there in July) and the restaurant offers fine dining (food was a delight). I wish there was a little more variety for kids though. The staff is very professional. Not overwhelmingly flexible though. We asked to be taken to our room with their golf cart and were told these could only be used to carry bags to the rooms. The property sits on a hill and some rooms (including ours) required to climb very steep paths. Also, there is no service at the pool. Not a big deal but it would be nice if someone could check out on guests from time to time and also remove towels left by other guests. That wouldn’t take much time in someone’s day to offer that basic service. Overall, I am very happy with my stay and so were my kids (9 and 19). I would definitely go back.

We often need to escape from the noise of live. Here is a beautiful oasis to escape and enjoy the silence of luxury. Geraldina has built a wonderful resort to relax and love your live. Every detail shows style, and you feel the expression of design. The people are like friends. Elisa organized perfectly the birthday dinner for my wife. Gianfranco created a brilliant meal. Tiziana has been just outstanding to make it unforgettable. And Aldo at the bar is like sunshine. What a brilliant team. Thank you Geraldina for creating such a magnificent residence.

Where to start... This place is magical. Its even prettier than the photos. Upon arrival we knew we were in the right place. The owner managed to keep the charm of a country home with authentic building and grounds. You can feel the serenity of the place. We were lucky to stay in suite 10 with our own pool and 2 bedrooms which were wonderful and immaculate. Not to mention the main pool was absolutely beautiful. The best part however were the staff. Everyone from reception to the restaurant personnel were kind and at the same time very professional. Food was fabulous. Breakfast had numerous options so prepare to gain weight from the terrific pastries. We had a number of dinners at the property as we stayed 10 days. Beautifully presented and delicious. They personnel really made you feel special. As I can't remember all the staffs names, I will say everyone was so helpful. Rarely do I go to a place where there is at least something wrong, I can say that Stazzo Lu Ciaccaru did it right. Terrific Holiday.
