The manor house is old and furnished in the “olde worlde” style. Our room on the second floor was on the smaller side, but not cramped. However, the bed linen was crisp and white and a real pleasure to sleep in! Breakfast was adequate with the usual cereals, bread, cold cuts and fruits. Hot dishes were scrambled eggs, bacon and fried frankfurters- guess should have been sausages? Dinner was well-cooked food, nothing fancy, but delicious. The swimming pool is outside/outdoor and quite a distance from the main house. Overall had a pleasant stay.

Excellent country-manor style of hotel with an old style of decor. It can be unsettling if one is an animal-lover though as there are scores of hunting trophies ( stuffed, fleeced) displayed in several areas. It’s a pleasure exploring the estate with its gardens, a little chapel and a swimming pool area. The level of service is pretty good and very welcoming. I was served tea on the first floor balcony overlooking the gardens and it was a very peaceful experience. The rooms are well-furnished. The food is decent and the breakfast spread is okay.

This was the most amazing place our group of six Camino travelers stayed during our 550 mile tour of Camino Frances. We were on bikes; it is off the official Camino route but we grabbed a reservation at Pazo de Brandeso because we were a larger group and nothing else was available. The staff and host was incredibly helpful. The owner, Juan led us in his car in the morning to show us a better way to get to the the designated bike route for the Camino. This took about an hour of his time which most owners would never consider. He also spent a considerable amount of time the previous evening informing us of the history of the incredible property. The home was built in 1620 and the chapel predates that. At one time, one end of the house was even a headquarters for the Spanish Inquisition. Such incredible history! Just walking around in the home was very entertaining. The food and service was excellent on all levels; highly recommended.

We stayed a various Pazos while we walked the Camino Frances, this was the most amazing and hospitable destination of all that we stayed at, we decided to stay 2 nights. Our hosts Juan and Raquel were very knowledgable and made our stay very special. The Pazo and its rolling gardens held surprises at every turn. The food specially prepared by the resident chef. Every meal was a treat. Every bedroom has a unique theme. The common lounges, covered terraces and garden seating coves are timeless. We will definitely go back.

Totalmente recomendable. La habitación doble superior que reservamos muy bonita, con un hall de entrada y salida a una terraza. El suelo de madera de castaño y las ventanas y contraventanas espectaculares. Desayuno abundante, todo casero y de gran calidad. Personal muy amable y atento.

Estuve con mi pareja y la experiencia fue muy buena. El Pazo es muy bonito y la naturaleza del entorno invita a relajarse y a desconectar. Me encantó la piscina y el ambiente tranquilo. El personal es muy amable y la cena y el desayuno estuvieron bien.

Residenza del 1600, molto ben tenuta sia per quanto riguarda gli spazi esterni che interni. Arredi d'epoca molto ricercati che ti trasportano in una realtà fuori dal tempo tra trofei di animali alle pareti, pelli di zebre, di orsi e di leoni in ogni dove che hanno talora un non so che di inquietante. Le stanze del secondo piano, mansardate, risultano essere piuttosto piccole, illuminate da un solo lucernaio, ma arredate in stile con tappezzeria alle pareti. Location sconsigliata a coloro che sono allergici alle polveri!!!

Se nota mucho que lo que quieren exclusivamente es hacer caja. Desayuno: si había 4 personas en el comedor ponían 8 lonchas de queso y si había dos personas cuatro lonchas. Fruta muy cortadita y en vasos pequeños para que parezca que comes más. Yogur de supermercado y un trozo de pan por persona. Instalaciones defectuosas sucias y rotas (adjunto fotos). Todas las mañanas nos levantábamos con picaduras de insectos. Piscina: para llegar hasta ella , hierba seca y todo en mal estado. Para los extranjeros que quieran hospedarse en un pazo antiguo , pues vale. Las fotos con las que se anuncian solo es la fachada y el aparentar , el resto nada de nada. Si no fuera por el personal , ya estaría cerrado (encantadores)
