Beautiful place, very artistically decorated. Rooms clean and bed very comfortable, staff incredibly friendly and the glass roof terrace on the 3rd floor a gorgeous space for meals. Recommend this lovely place to all on the Camino….you will love it!

1930 Hotel is an incredible boutique hotel right on the Camino de Santiago in Arzúa, Spain.. The hospitality, ambiance, room decor, and the food were just awesome. My friend and I, experiencing a long walk in torrential downpours on our own camino, were booked at this hotel through our travel agent. We were greeted at the entrance by warm and friendly staff as we dripped our way to the reception desk. To our surprise, we were thrilled to find heated towel racks in the bathroom, and hotel staff provided newspapers to stuff our wet shoes with. Dinner was delicious, and the wait staff were so attentive. After a hard day of battling winds and rain, the 1930 Hotel was a true oasis in that storm..

This is a beautiful Boutique Hotel that should be five stars. It is magical. The decoration the rooms the gardens are beyond beautiful. And the food is spectacular which also should be five stars. The owners have a restaurant down the street as well they are passionate about food. I will be back. And you will love it.

Right from the front door you know you’re in a special place where the owners and staff love providing hospitality to travellers. The lobby is beautifully decorated as are the rooms. We are at the restaurant upstairs and had a delicious memorable supper and breakfast the next morning.

Wow! Best place we stayed on our Camino trip . Owner and family went out of their way to makes us feel welcome and even delivered forgotten belongings to our next hotel. Excellent breakfast and their sister restaurant just up the street is fab. Lovely gardens beautiful decor .

I stayed here in 2024 having stayed here in 2022 Pluses The hotel is luxurious The breakfast was very nice Sleep quality was good Minuses The hotel was clearly in the process of being set up for a wedding 2 days later as we were greeted by a very loud sound check for the music on our arrival. The gardens which are nice were full all afternoon of workmen setting the place up for the wedding (the holiday was to close on the Friday, the day before the wedding and to be honest it should not have taken our booking for the Thursday either. Sadly this left us with a very poor taste in the mouth as this is one place we were really looking forward to staying in. The owner when asked why he had taken the booking went off on a tangent telling us how tough it was and that he would be making no money out of the wedding. It would be a good idea to check, before booking, to ensure that the hotel had taken no wedding bookings so that you could enjoy your stay there.

This hotel is amazing, except for one thing which I’ll get to. The location is great and welcome on arrival, special, thanks Adriam (sorry about the spelling). Beautiful garden outside and ice cold beer. The rooms are small but adequate and very new. So all good so far. Then you go to dinner, and the chef seems to have no connection to the hotel, the food is bland and poorly thought out considering most guests have been walking or running all day. The chicken taco I think was bought in box, microwaved and then covered in supermarket mustard and that may have been the highlight. Anyway definitely a place to visit when the chef is on vacation. Or go to the pizza place a few meters away, that is incredible.

Fantastic hotel. Charming, well decorated, great service, comfy beds, great breakfast with a view to a green space. Owners are present and give s personal touch to the service. Rooms have banes and are decorated differently from each other. What else do you need? I highly recommend this place!

Oh my goodness! This hotel was a spectacular experience! The owners were amazing and so was their staff. The physical facility was amazing but the service really made this hotel stand out. It was just a great stay! I will come back!!! And if you are driving through or walking the Camino de Santiago, you have to stay here! You will be very happy you did! Thank you!
