Residence Inn Raleigh Downtown

We only spent one night in a suite but we could tell it was a well equipped hotel. 2 restaurants, gym, laundry services, etc. Parking was convenient and the staff made you feel welcomed.

We were at this hotel for Galaxy Con. It was very convenient to the convention center. The breakfast was very good each morning. The staff was fantastic, kind friendly, helpful. The beds are comfortable. The room has a microwave and fridge in it, but no kitchenette. The room and bathroom was larger than I thought they would be. Plenty of room for us to be comfortable in. I would like to have had bedside tables on both sides of each bed. I also think the bathtub needs some anti slip things put down. I felt like I was going to fall when I took a shower. Also, we found the internet to be unreliable. The bad thing is this hotel is located very close to an arena that had concerts 2 of the nights we were there. Not the hotel’s fault. The music rattled the room. I could hear every word the performers said. The first night the concert was done by 10pm, so no big deal. The 2nd concert went very late. I was extremely annoyed. I had a headache and wanted nothing more then to go to sleep. Not the hotels fault and not much they could really do about it. Overall, we enjoyed this hotel, it was nice to have a place to go to relax during the convention, rather than having to leave for the day.

The Overlook serves delicious food and the servers and bartender were friendly, engaging and made the experience awesome. Frankie mixed up delicious drinks, Kyle was outgoing and fun, and Jay is an excellent cook! Be sure to dine at The Overlook! 🎉🎉❤️❤️🍸🍸

Kyle bartender was great. Really took care of us. Gave us good recco’s for stops around town. Funny guy. We bonded. Robert at front desk was also helpful and took care of me… I needed help holding my bags till room was ready. And then ran out of toothpaste and he hooked me up. Nice staff!!

Ate at the Residence Inn's restaurant and the server was Kyle. He provided top shelf customer service and the veggie burger was really good! My friend had the salmon. She also said her food was delish. Appreciate the nice environment, food and service.

Family of five stayed in a studio suite. Studio was large and roomy. Kitchen had more space than what we have experienced at other Residence Inn properties. The beds were supposed to be Queen beds, but seemed more like full sized beds. They have a bar and restaurant on the 10th floor of hotel. We did not take advantage of the bar, but I popped my head inside before closing and it looked nice. No nearby grocery. We had to drive roughly about 10 minutes to get to a Harris Teeter grocery store for some food for the kids. The free breakfast was pretty standard. Eggs, sausage and potatoes. My son said the scrambled eggs were the best he has ever had at a Residence Inn. The potatoes were very tasty too. The gym was very nicely laid out. Free weights, two benches and some well maintained cardio equipment.

Kyle at the bar was the best. So kind and funny. Really made the night so much fun. Turned on the lights to help us with our meeting and had great commentary throughout the night. Second floor better than ten for real for real. Floor two is the way to go for a good drink

Kyle the bartender was so awesome and chill, he made sure we were having the best time at the bar :) he had talent dripping from his fingers and knew how to make a drink so well i felt like a new person after taking just a single sip. i felt something inside of me and i began a new life after taking a sip of my drink. SECOND FLOOR＞ TENTH FLOOR!
