Ashbourne House Hotel

So I came across this little Gem of a hotel on my travels as a Fáilte Ireland Driver/Guide and boy was I impressed...The level of care and attention from all the staff was above and beyond at this place, the room was spotless which has to be a nod to Amanda and all the house keeping team , the food was ...well..just outstanding and the bar fully immersed with the Xmas Spirit was a joy....Kenny the New Manager was very hands on whilst the rest of the team knew exactly how to deal with diners/clientele by not being over bearing and bothering them every minute all in all I would highly recommend this establishment as it has everything a Traveller/ concert goer or just even a solo would need with every amenities just outside the front door....by and large I am going to rate this little Gem in the top 3 of Hotels I stay in throughout the course of my job and I will have no problem in recommending this hotel to the operators I deal with throughout my season...well done guys keep up the good work..

I stopped here on my way back from Mayo as I had an early sailing. The room was a great size and clean. The staff are very friendly. The food ws also delicious. I made a good choice and would return. It's ideally situated for the Dublin area. They also have weekend entertainment.

Lovely hotel just stayed 1 night after visiting local adventure park. We didn't have food at the hotel walked to a beautiful restaurant just a few mins away. This hotel is very central. Our kids enjoyed their stay too. Would definitely recommend.

Just back from a midweek stay here. Pleasantly surprised. Staff are helpful and very friendly. Room & bathroom was a bit dated but was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was great and reasonably priced. Hotel is conveniently located to shops and local bars. Would definitely return again. Just to note, there are very few taxis about if you want to travel. Had to download the Uber app to get about.

We stayed in this hotel on 18th May 2024. We were early arriving. The hotel receptionist was more than helpful his name was Ausman I think. He was friendly and considerate. The hotel itself was mega comfortable spacious clean rooms hairdryer and tea etc. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful in every single way. Beautiful lobby as you walked in with comfortable furniture and homely atmosphere. I would highly recommend this hotel

Myself and my partner Niall treanor stayed in your hotel last night for a night,  Have to state we weren't happy from start to finish, lady on reception was no way friendly. My partner was charged 150e where he was quoted 130 when booking the room over the phone, without breakfast, we couldn't reserve a table for food or the rugby which was okay in the end as we went else where, this morning when we had check out it says 12pm online, we got a call to the room at 11.25am saying we've five mins until checkout time.  Which I stated on the phone it says different online. Man on the other end of the phone was so rude. Not a nice date night away. Then to send a email to be completely rudly ignored. Will definitely leave an unhappy review on trip advisor as we where not treated like residents
