Chris and Sheri are the best! My son and I booked our stay for the weekend to volunteer with BeLOVEd Asheville. It was my son’s first b+b stay, and he is hooked! He told my mom about everyone we shared a table with at breakfast, and how soft the bed was. He is looking forward to the next trip as much as I am! The house is gorgeous! Every room is special! Coming after it is decorated for Christmas is like a Hallmark movie! We will definitely be back!

Terrific B&B - It’s a beautiful home, very clean and comfortable and well taken care of. The Montford neighborhood is awesome. Chris and Sheri are excellent innkeepers - so welcoming and warm. We stayed in the Celebration suite and loved it! We saw a peek of the Wright Suite and it is beautiful - maybe our next stay!!

The hospitality and food at the 1899 Wright Inn greatly exceeded my expectations. My friend and I planned to stay in the Orr room with twin beds. Just before we checked in, the owner noticed that the beds were not separated so we were given an extra room free of charge. The breakfast and homemade cookies are amazing! The owners even hosted a happy hour during our stay. I will definitely stay here again if I visit Asheville.

We immediately fell in love with the character and charm of this Inn. Each room was unique and decorated exquisitely. The gourmet breakfast was fabulous! A social hour gave us time to meet other guests too. There's lots to do here and we highly recommend this Inn to make your stay enjoyable and memorable. Thank you to the owners!

We stayed 4 nights in the Griffen Room. The king bed was very comfortable, the shower was stocked with organic products and the towels and robes were pristine. The breakfasts made by Sheri and her son were amazing, with a different 2 course menu every day. We could help ourselves to a variety of beverages and fresh home baked cookies. The location was very convenient to the main attractions in Asheville, including the Biltmore (the hosts provided a discount code for tickets). There was plenty of parking. I would highly recommend the Wright Inn and would definitely stay there again!

5 stars! A lovely Inn and wonderful experience. Great room and very well appointed and comfortable king sized bed. The inn keepers were available and made all breakfast items each day and were excellent and each day different. Located in the Montfort Historic and close to the arts district and downtown. There’s even an ice cream truck that comes through on Thursdays. The social hour from 5-6 each evening is special with a wine or beer choice and house made charcuterie board. Saturday we had a local musician play for us to enhance our porch time. This is a must stay while visiting Asheville

This was our second stay at the 1899 Wright Inn. We stayed in the celebration suite and absolutely loved it. This B&B has the best breakfasts. Thank you for being so wonderful. We will always stay at this location. Maybe next stay we will choose the carriage house.

It is a fantastic place in the heart of Asheville. The hosts are incredible. The breakfast is out of this world. This is defnerly a place that I'll gladly stay again. Its very clean and the place has a lot of history as well Thank you, Chris, for everything!

This was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast in the USA. We loved the quiet peacefulness of the neighborhood and the home itself. We stayed in the celebration suite and it was nice having a private entrance where we didn't feel like we were disturbing anyone when we were coming and going. The town is very walkable depending on where you want to go and we walked to and from dinner every night. The bed was very comfortable and the design was lovely. The jacuzzi tub was a nice way to relax! The owners were so kind and accommodating. They communicated well and offered great suggestions of things to do around the area. The breakfasts were superb! I love breakfast a lot and I was delighted with every meal we had. They serve local organic coffee that was very good as well. We will definitely be back and have been already telling people about how wonderful our stay here was!
