The house has been restored in perfect fashion. The front room is a great place to sit and sip a bit of wine and relax. We particularly enjoyed the mimosas with breakfast. They were meticulous about accommodating our allergies.

We opted to try this place as our usual in Ashland was fully booked when we tried there. Nice, beautiful old home converted. Staff was very helpful. A big plus for us was a Tesla charging unit (there is also a generic unit). So, why just a ‘3”? The location is right next to a main thoroughfare through Ashland (going west, I think it’s called Lithia Ave). We were in the upper unit of the “Carriage House” and the noise from the highway was unpleasant, and well into the late night. Also, the Samsung TV system is way too “high tech” and there were no instructions on how to use it. The channel listing left on the desk next to the TV seemed to have no coordination with the system. We sort of had it figured out on the last of our three nights there.

We spent two nights here as part of a relaxing layover on a road trip, and we very much enjoyed our stay. The location couldn't be beat--just steps from the shops and restaurants of downtown Ashland, as well as Lithia Park. (And the theaters as well, although we didn't attend.) Our room was very comfortable, and although I expected some noise due to the location near the back door, kitchen, and shared fridge/microwave area, in fact the noise never bothered us. AC was great despite a heat wave. Breakfasts were perfect. The Tesla charger was a very handy amenity. We received frequent communications which made everything clear. And the entire staff was helpful and friendly. We will definitely stay here again next time we're in town.

Driving to Portland area, we stopped and stayed here for one night. The home is beautifully decorated and historical. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Excellent breakfast!! Room was comfortable and quiet. Short walking distance to a lovely park and several restaurants/shops. We will definitely be back!

The historical, pristine grandeur of McCall House was a wonderful experience and the hosts were exceptionally welcoming. We loved our room at the rear of the house where it was quiet & we slept peacefully on a very comfortable bed. The décor throughout was so tasteful, particularly the use of art televisions which is a clever way to preserve the historical nature while providing technology comforts. The breakfast was outstanding as was the service! We would definitely return to this restful, beautiful location which is convenient to downtown shops and OSF entertainment.

We’ve visited Ashland many times, and the MCall House was by far our favorite place to stay. Comfortable, convenient, and a delicious breakfast. Everyone was attentive to making our stay comfortable, and the rooms offered everything else we ended to be comfortable. We will be back!

Beautiful, historical house with super clean and lovely rooms! tasteful decorations. We enjoyed our stay here. My mom especially loved reading the history part of the house. Amazing, giant magnolia tree in front of the property. Super delicious breakfast with fruit yogurt poached egg and crispy bread, matched well with the theme of the house giving us of a feeling of reliving the past. Gisselle was accommodating, patient and welcoming. She made it easy for our stay here. We’re glad we stayed here and wished we stayed longer to explore Ashland.

I returned to the McCall House in early December for 3 days. It was truly a wonderful experience again. the breakfasts were creative, delicious with great coffee. The hose is nicely decorated ,cozy, very relaxing. Their winter special ( 3rd night free) was a nice surprise .Their kindness and hospitality is greatly appreciated. The location is superb, I could walk to all the shops, restaurants and the beautiful Lithia Park.Definitely will return. Thanks, Dr Agnes Horvath

A beautifully decorated, very comfortable, conveniently located boutique inn! Staff were friendly and conscientious, and the homemade breakfasts were absolutely delicious. We especially appreciated the Tesla charging station, homemade cookies on arrival, and sherry in the drawing room. Bathrobes in the room, hot a-la-carte beverage stations and a bar fridge on each floor added to the homey atmosphere. Booking was a breeze online and follow up was prompt and thorough. We have stayed at McCall House 3 times this year: April, Oct., and Dec. and will definitely be back!
